I think most of those who express hate did not watch from the beginning (in full episode, not skipping). It's nice to see her grow into a stronger person.
I can finally see how strong Mi Rae is and how much and how deeply Hyun Jae loves her. That love beyond the smiley, giddy feeling and that strength that enables her to sacrifice her own happiness for someone else's. It must have been hard for Mi Rae to make that decision. If I were in her shoes, I would have done the same.
I just recently continued watching after putting this drama on hold for some time. From where I stopped then, I seem to have misjudged Kang Jae. I used to root for him and Woo Ri but now I'm thinking of shipping him and the female detective. I'll be ignoring the hate comments here for now since I'm giving this drama another chance.
Random comment on episode previews: I don't know if I would feel relieved or annoyed with how the montage of episode…
Preview for Episode 34: That bit where we see Hyun Jae teary-eyed and Mi Rae's voice in the background saying, "Now I understand why Mom wants me not to be easily swayed by Hyun Jae." Then when Grandpa Gyeong Cheol was talking to the police officer asking about people looking for their biological parents, the question came first before the officer said, "Congratulations!" When in it was actually shown the other way around. Ugh. Should we still believe the previews? Forgive me for ranting too much. Hehe
Random comment on episode previews: I don't know if I would feel relieved or annoyed with how the montage of episode previews are made. The preview for Episode 34 definitely did not show how the episode actually turned out. While it does help viewers be curious or eager about what happens next, it can sometimes also make viewers anxious.
I feel relieved seeing how Mom Kyung Ae is softening up towards Hae Jun... While Hae Jun can be a bit straightforward, such trait of hers is an assurance that anything that she says is sure to be sincere. If I were Kyung Ae, I would also feel touched by how considerate of my feelings Hae Jun is by asking permission to invite to my wedding a close friend who just recently attended a funeral. Plus, how she assures that no matter what "bad luck" may come, Hae Jun and Yoon Jae will overcome those by always being there for each other. That conversation is my most favorite moment in Episode 34.
The last week preview is scary looks like every1 lost money/exposed and Not Kim Hye Yoon's character dying as…
khy role might be minor but it was quite significant to yong mi. it's really sad that she had to die to make a mark in yong mi's life. (please tag the original comment as spoiler. thanks.)
Re-watching this drama for who knows how many times already. Had a new realization. There was a part in the later episodes of the drama where FSL mentioned Bando that she felt he was acting like a father to her. In Episode 4, I just realized how Jin Joo was acting like a mother to the MSL. Completely changed my POV of his attraction towards her. He was drawn to her because she "takes care" of him, although not in a romantic way, but being a guy, that action of Jin Joo's could be easily misinterpreted. Going back to 1999, Jin Joo approached "History Guy" because she wanted to be nice to the person who considered her as his first love. But I don't think she was romantically attracted to him as the 38-yo MJJ. This gives the feeling that Ban Do is actually Jin Joo's first love.
