I think it's kind of beautiful though that the only person who could help Jang Uk forget and move on from his love for Naksu is Naksu herself. What the other comment says quite resonates with me. His soul fell in love with hers because he was already drawn to her from episode 1 of this season. This wouldn't have happened with some other random woman. The only reason he didn't hesitate to "switch women" was because he wasn't actually switching anyone

Thanks for catching that! Yes the male lead does die so I'm not sure why I had it on the list in the first place.
I'm gonna disagree with you on that one. Although they won time together, he was slowly dying from poison and left his child when he was still very young. That reads as a very sad story of a man dying decades before his love and his child, not as a "happy ending" just because they were together for a few years
