idk, I hate love triangles cuz I usually get 2nd lead syndrome... in this show surprisingly I had no second lead…
Haha I’m the opposite of you. I usually only like one of the male leads and get annoyed when the FL in love triangles can’t make up her mind. They’re actually really enjoyable when I like both guys because I feel her struggle since I also like both of them.
Hard disagree. Besides the fact that literally the first two listed genres are romance and comedy, the entire drama screams romcom to me, and I’m 2 episodes away from finishing it. Even if it was a mature romance (which it really isn’t when compared to dramas like 18 Again and Yumi’s Cells), romcoms and mature romances aren’t mutually exclusive.
I get the character’s motivation, I just don’t understand why the writers felt the need to include all this angst in the first place. It’s just personal preference. I prefer for my romcoms to not turn into melodramas for 2 hours.
They spent like 4 episodes completely ghosting each other because Yu Tu rejected Jingjing’s confession by making the excuse that they’re too different. It just felt unnecessarily glum and angsty.
Okay, too much fluff has killed this drama. It is great to watch, it gives a very nice warming feeling, but after…
I definitely agree with you! I just left a comment myself saying how their big fight in the middle of the drama completely ruined the entire thing for me. I really couldn't understand their argument and why it was at all necessary. I really enjoy slow burn romances for the exact same reason why this one kind of flopped at the end. When there's too many episodes of them being together, it just gets boring. I like it when dramas have a good secondary cast because my favorite dramas always tend to have a rich subplot to not make the main plot rush too quickly. I think dramas like 30 but 17 and Falling Into Your Smile did a great job with blending great secondary leads and another interesting subplot with the main plot, which made the drama not drag even when the leads were together. Sadly I do not get the hype that surrounds this drama at all.
I think most of us here can agree that Boys Over Flowers was definitely a hate watch, especially for the people who started it after already being in the drama scene for some time.
Just got onto Ep14 and sadly this is one of the slowest corruption reveals I've probably ever watched! I agree…
Sounds interesting! I'm not a big fan of crime/investigation dramas when it involves the police and prosecutors, but I enjoy stuff like Sherlock Holmes where it's more casual and less on the legal side.
The premiere of season 2 is supposed to be in May 2022. But that's not certain. Currently, the drama team is shooting…
You posted this a while back, but my guess is that they would probably change the ending to make it two seasons. Maybe it's gonna turn into some kind of love triangle type drama, kind of like True Beauty?
