I’m just starting to get in BL actually, most of the time BL dramas come off as too cringy for me, or the writers don’t know how to write those characters properly, so that’s why I stay clear, though recently I found some good ones, that’s also why I wouldn’t know about the BL review community LOL, but that’s ridiculous ugh ... I’d hate seeing that all the time *sigh* ....

I’m not on s3 yet so idk if things have changed but in s1 he’s very full of himself like after all those years of Miyagi teaching him karate, he ends up becoming a self absorbed businessman who does “care” about his family but cares about his image more. I watched all the karate kid films and when he was younger I felt he learned better life lessons than his adult self which saddened me. It’s like Miyagi’s teachings were for nothing :( I hope he changes in s2 & s3, either from Johnny or because of his daughter (I’m halfway through s2 rn!

Oh yeah, from what I’ve heard, shit hits the fan like after ep. 9 lol, I will only watch scenes with Dal mi & Pyeong, or just Pyeong, he deserved better :’(

That’s why the drama is so popular lol, the man is a gem, and even has his own fan club now lol, everyone was so pissed he didn’t get the ending he deserved, originally it was for all three leads (Suzy, Nam etc.) but after finding out how terrible their characters were written after halfway through the series, I’m only watching for KSH :’)

Lmao did someone bring up TKEM? That show was a mess no matter how much I love LMH, but I agree with all of your points, the wasted potential wasn’t even primarily in the main f & ml, it was in the second ml because they had a chance to do something good for him, but he kept getting hurt and casted aside all the time :(
