Just to let y’all know, I spoiled myself in advance and I’ve decided to watch this show for one purpose and I’m sure it’s everyone’s after finishing or hearing about the ending, here’ my purpose:
Big YJG fan and I thought he did great in this show, so did IU, but the end really staggered :’( which I was sad about, the cinematography was top notch though
I think what a lot of people were drawn to in this show was the comedy and the stellar acting performances from pmy & psj, but I’ll be honest with everyone here, towards the end it took a major dip, which is why I don’t understand the 10-ratings, the whole kidnapping plot line felt sooo out of place for a rom-com, imo, the same thing happened with Strong Woman Bong Soon, where the “bride kidnapper” plot made no sense to me and was just thrown in progress character actions ... If this show didn’t have that plot, I think I would’ve given it a higher rating :’( but the comedy was so funny, I feel korean rom-coms do a stellar job compared to amercian rom-coms by a long shot.

It doesn’t say on MDL this series is a webdrama, normally there’s a tag that normally says “webseries or webdrama,” but there isn’t one, did I miss something? web dramas normally go from 10-20 min. anyway, it’s rare I see a webdrama have even 30 min tbh. But even if it’s a webdrama respectfully I still agree with my previous statement that 30 min is not enough time to flesh characters development and plot out, without it seeming to rapid, especially with 16 ep, I do like so far how the show isn’t afraid to show the realism of the ml & fl, but pacing so far isn’t for me :(

Ohhh boy. *Sigh* I’m all about realism but if the ending isn’t there I might sit this one out, I like endings with closure for the ml & fl if possible, as in development has happened, and by the end we’re satisfied by justice or the actions of each character are satisfactory. Penthouse started off great but the end isn’t looking too hot, and I’m kind of salty about it actually :’( thanks for the feedback!
