Awhile back I stated a theory Yeon and Rang would have to come together to take down possessed Ji Ah, welp *sigh* we got close, but not close enough ... Would’ve made a better story because no joke, within the last 4-5 ep. feels like the og screenwriter left and someone new came in last minute ... That’s not a good thing, the romance isn’t there (off camera I feel the chemistry which wtf, I don’t understand lol), and this show honestly would’ve been better if the story focused on the brothers, the fight scenes were mediocre this current episode too which really disappointed me because even though there was tension, it still felt anticlimactic, characters were literally being thrown around that’s it, we’re not even in the last ep. yet and we’re supposed to believe Yeon is dead? We all know he’s going to come back because that’s every kdrama trope I’ve ever seen, damn I’m disappointed ...

%100! Ohhhh my god, that idol statement is so true it hurts, don’t get me wrong, some idols I’ve seen are wonderful actors / actresses, but you can’t let them determine the rating of a show you know? If it’s bad, it’s bad, and not even their acting is going to fix that. I agree with the ratings statement as well .. *sigh* ... What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim? is a perfect example of a show being overly rated because of bias, I friggin love Park Seo Joon dude, love him, he’s so talented, and Park Min Young is an exceptional actress, love her works too, but the show was wasted by a plot that didn’t even make sense in the end, it was shoved into the drama, and the lack of bitter communication between the leads, yet it’s rated 8.4 ... If you’re going to rate a show, at least rate it on the story, cinematography, and the acting, not how pretty the faces are ... This is just imo, but I’ve seen it a lot.

The only ratings I listen to on here are the people who don’t give a full 10/10 rating in all categories, means they’re not shrouded by biases, or by the glamor and looks, they gave thought to their decision, and then they tell us why, at this point I watch a drama if it looks good to ME, not just because others recommend it, I feel quite a few people on MDL are bias on the ratings, or people will give higher ratings for actors and actresses who are their favs, NOT the script and story the drama has to offer

He’s literally the purest character in this drama, right up there with Han Ri, although he at one point neglected his family, he does care about them, he loves his daughter, and he never did anything remotely terrible to his wife, NADA, he friggin cried a river over her attempted “suicide” and then she does all this shit including cheating on him just to get his funds ... It’s unbelievable, she’s easily a hatable character (means the actress is doing a kick ass job), he definitely was considerate too, she’s literally a witch, and it shows ... Now the poor guy is in a coma or double spoiler he’s not anymore the promo showed that, and I swear to god ... if he’s framed for shit one more time imma punch my screen, he’s gone through so much because of her and it isn’t fair ...

Omg right, it was a huge letdown, product placements everywhere, uneven cuts, the plot just thrown away, it was a mess, and I finished all 20 ep. I think he’s a damn good actor, he just got stuck with an incomplete drama, I wish he’d do more thriller / action films or dramas, like City Hunter and Gangnam Blues, I think he’s brilliant in those
Man I haven’t seen Byung Kyoo in a main role since Dokgo Rewind (still need to watch Hot Stove League) and I wished to god that show had a second season, he’s matured as an actor, almost didn’t recognize him in the first couple episodes lol, wishing he gets more lead roles in the future!
