Alright y’all, gonna be real here, I’ve watched the most anticipated kdramas of 2020, all of them, and a good majority of them ended up being major disappointments because the writing was terrible or the plot dragged, and filler took up most of the drama, or the characters weren’t developed enough, I’m literally terrified this show is going to end up the same way, like I’ll watch the whole thing to the end and end up being disappointed all over again ... as an avid kdrama watcher I’m seeing this happen with a lot of newer shows and it’s getting to be sad. Tell me I’m not the only one who feels this way?

for some reason this drama gives me “Mystic Pop-up Bar” vibes ... I’M NOT COMPLAINING, that drama was underrated as hell, hope this one is just as good! first two episodes have a strong start! :)

Literally it would’ve added more closure if he died, and he wouldn’t have come back a liar or someone that didn’t give a crap about putting Ra Ra through all that mental pain for five years ... Sometimes I think when I watch kdramas I can write a better ending lol, I don’t think I’m wrong xDDDD

I respect that! Secret garden was pretty lit, but a lot of people have changed their opinions about goblin I’ve seen lol, because of the ending, I love gong yoo and dongwook but the ending wasn’t there ...

You know something else? I’m a huge LMH fan, HUGE ... but even I can’t justify how bad the drama is, even with all the glorious production, casting, costumes everything, no one could save that drama from the large ass plot holes and writing, not even Do Hwan, who I thought had the best acting performance out of the entire drama. LMH has great chemistry with most fl’s I’ve seen act with him, Legend of the Blue Sea, Boys Over Flowers, City Hunter have the best imo, but this drama ... holy — there was nothing ... NADA, no chemistry I could feel ... I literally thought it was just me who felt that way, then I went to the online discussion feeds, I think most people agree, the chemistry in this one wasn’t there :(

RIGHT. Like when his friend died, he was traumatized, it’s as if the writer forgot that shit, hate lazy writing with a burning passion ... BURNING PASSION. Omg Man Bok was the real og, loved his character .. his death was sad af, which makes the ding even more frustrating, Joon should’ve been there before he passed away

I think I felt LMH’s chemistry in the legend of the blue sea, that’s one of my personal favs of his, but since then, nothing, and I’m a big fan of his :( Kim Eunsook ... *sigh* after TKEM I’m not a fan, and I likely won’t watch her other dramas, because pretty faces cannot fix a script and this show is a perfect example of that

The show was 10/10 till the last damn ep ... the leukemia plot was unnecessary if they were going to pull a stunt like the 5-years later bit ... I agree :(

Honestly, if he died for real, the ending would’ve been better, if they didn’t keep the “leukemia plot” he should’ve come back in the second to last ep ... poorly written indeed

I think that’s why I converted over to cdramas they don’t have terrible endings most of the time, and their production is pretty great, I’m disappointed in this one too, it started off sooooo wellllll darn it!!!

Lmao, so you’re seeing the pattern too I see? Amnesia plots can be done, they’re just never written right sksksks seen at least 15 kdramas with the amnesia plot, and I agreed, it’s getting old

Let me tell you the end of a drama can drastically change the rating, and it should be way lower than 8.1 for the ending alone, it was done terribly, a drama doesn’t deserve above an 8.0 if the writers don’t know how to write a proper ending, still salty ...
