Lol I remember we had a conversation in snowdrop comment section about how second leads/side characters are thrown…
Oof one of the many things I’ve started to hate about kdramas dude, its gotten pretty bad, everyone’s “oppa” crazy or hates the female lead, you just can’t win :’( and ohhhh 100% like just because my favorite actor/actress is the main lead in a show, doesn’t mean I’m gonna let that clout overshadow bad writing and pacing, but that’s just me, I know people rate dramas differently on MDL or in general based of enjoyment or writing etc. but sometimes I wish people wouldn’t let their kdrama crush’s overshadow the content of a show, because in reality if it’s bad, it’s bad lol, and not even your oppa can fix that, they definitely get defensive holy sh—— dude, you can’t say nothin’ without someone destroying your ass on this platform, jk its the same with Twitter too sksks xD
Nepotism is becoming a serious issue in kdramaland actually, I’m seeing more idol stars cast in dramas, a lot of famous actors and actresses, but I cannot remember the last time I saw a rookie actor boost his/her career in a popular show, I wouldn’t call Kim Seon-ho a rookie actor but his career definitely got a boost from Start-Up and I appreciated that, it was a legitimate “f u” to all those people who didn’t think he was going to make it, he’s a fantastic actor :’) and oof hell yeah, I didn’t give a sh— about the main leads in start-up dude lmaoooo, I love Suzy but oof, her character seriously pissed me off, and Hyuk’s ... The Swoon only goes for actors with popularity, oneday I’d like those actors to come forward and say “hey, you should include supporting actors too, because people need to see this kind of chaotic crack, and you’re missing out big time lol”
Indeed it is! Lmao I love ace and I want to watch this so bad, I’m sure VIKI will pick it up eventually, but I don’t wanna wait that long, I hate waiting for episodes weekly for newer shows as it is, you know? Sksks oh well :’(
Great article! And I think the finale will be interesting for sure! Might be a minority, but the one thing that disappointed me about the series was the brain transplant :/ like come on bruh, I know the writer had their reasons to use it, but it just felt odd or the twist could’ve been better imo
Weirdly for once I kind of feel like I want a "sad" ending. Like her granting him the wish of doom to the world…
Lmao kdrama writers don’t know how to “do” sad endings unfortunately, 9/10 the lead comes back to life and the only things that end up sad are the underdeveloped characters and weak storyline sksks
