Not sure I've ever been so conflicted after watching 1 episode of a drama. There are things about episode 1 I…
Not really a fan of the first ML nor of the second ML… Except for “Word of Honor” the first ML always looks placid to me and the second ML always looks like a snake to me. No matter the character he plays. For me, D. literally stole the show so far. I am very much intrigued by her character. Hopefully, the storyline doesn’t sink down the line.
The sub is so bad. Can’t understand a thing but I love Reba characters. She so flirty and spunky.
So bad. We need professor Robert Langdon just to decipher those subs. But D. did a superb job in that very first episode. I can let the subs fly for that.
Is it wrong for me to feel that the drama had ML's father die just on time? 😅
His mistake and cowardice turned the ML’s life into pure hell… Pure misery… On top of that, also lost his mother from cancer because she didn’t have the funds for treatments.
No disrespect but that father should have died from his cowardice suicidal attempt long ago. So, not soon enough.
This drama is like the treat to my eyes...sweet and heartwarming. Feeling of being fulfilled our first love is…
As I stated below already… “Whether it is admiration... Whether it is devotion... Or simply pure puppy love... We all have experienced those feelings while growing up. I sure did, myself. What is the probability, the chance of experiencing an adolescent crush “Coup de foudres” as we call it where I am from… Developing into a mature and stable attraction, years later? And more wonderful… Having this mature love being reciprocated back… What are the chances? Fictional or non-fictional = ZERO
That is why I think this is a very relatable storyline.”

I love “Love Like the Galaxy.” I have watched my boy, Leo, grew up from him screaming “Water Buffalo” into this Adonis statue of a young man saying “Don’t be scare; I am here…” I will always be rooting for my boy. No matter what. However, in terms of chemistry, dynamic and genuine intimacy…. “Hidden Love” wins it for me.
That is why I excluded “Love Like the Galaxy” from that list.
I don’t mean to be rude or this shouldn’t come across as being rude or offensive to anyone, but I just want…

I am a born cynic; there is absolutely not much that can make my heart skip a bit. These 3 Chinese dramas did.

well said , I was actually a fan of LLTG couple based on chemistry too , but until Hidden Love.... I can't help…
Sometimes, the production houses forget that the OSTs basically play 15% in the success of any cinematography production. Luckily, “Hidden Love” remembered that part.

The scenes… intimate and non-intimate literally gave me butterflies in my stomach. And I can admit that I am very cynical… So that is a very difficult thing to achieve with me.
Have you watched Love Like the Galaxy, Zhao Lu Si's drama last year? It's the same actress who played her mum…
One of the strangest motherly loves that I have watched. There were many instances during “Love Like the Galaxy” when I asked myself if they were really biologically related?🤔
I fully enjoyed every single episode. And I cried in almost every one of them. Well directed and well produced coming-of-age drama. Very very very very well acted. Zhao Lu Si and Chen Zhe Yuan’s chemistry and dynamic were… To put them simply… Unreal… This drama has basically wow me.
I started this with no expectations whatsoever… Even a bit skeptical… Even a bit biased… Because I didn’t think anything could beat her chemistry with Leo Wu from “Love Like the Galaxy.” What I actually got is something very special.
I will try to look for it once I have a chance.

Outgoing without being annoying.
The type of FLs that I like.
I want to see more.
I am definitely intrigued!
I dropped this a month ago.
Completely not interesting to me.
I am sorry; I am trying really hard to continue watching this simply because of XuXu…
But good gracious! It is hard.

They don’t have to be in the same scene.
And we still can feel their chemistry.

She has become more subjective than objective lately.
Given when it comes to cinematography... It is difficult not to be subjective.
Luckily, “Hidden Love” remembered that part.
In Hidden Love’s universe, she is the greatest mother.
🤣🤣🤣
And I can admit that I am very cynical… So that is a very difficult thing to achieve with me.
Sorry Leo… But I have to tell the truth.
That was special.
