Okay but I really like the FL, ML, and the SML so far.

Man Er stands her own ground firmly, and doesn't back down. She's not a doormat, not a pushover, but she's not overbearing and actually cares for people too. She could've just left Lian Er so that the family tastes their own medicine, but she chose to save her. But she still fights back at Lian Er whenever she pulls shit (like the money bag incident). Not to mention she's not afraid to ACT, I love me some thick-skinned leads 😂😂 (e.g. during the fake baby scene and the meat pie scene).

Shen Nuo be acting out a Wuxia drama in the middle of a slice of life/farm building drama LOL. He's incredibly intellegent (pointing out the possible loopholes for the loaning of money, finding the culprit that hurt Man Er's mom)! Calm, collected, and calculative, with great martial arts skills, and an even greater silver tongue. Equally, or perhaps even more thick-skinned than Man Er. Bro siked her real good in the restaurant scene, thank got she hadn't ordered anything lmao if not they would've been in huge debt. Treat her after you reveal your identity! 🙈 Can seem a little cold, but has his own set of morals and abides by his words. (Like when he was guarding the door when the doc was tending to Man Er's mom, or when he really risked his life to protect Man Er because he promised so).

And our doctor You Heng! Very capable man with medical knowledge greater than he probably should have in this tiny village. Even though he likes Man Er, he doesn't unreasonably do anything to our love rival ML, even helping him (when he was stopped by the guards). The only reason why he was moderately hostile was because he thought Shen Nuo had ill intentions (found calluses gained from sword fighting so realises he was pretending to be from a farm village), honestly feel like the 2 of them are on the road to becoming buddies hahaha. Obviously very kind-hearted (helping to supply medicine to those with less financial capabilities), is also very intellegent (when he got the beggars to pretend to be officials), and actually cares about Man Er! When he placed that antidote into Man Er's mouth so smoothly and said "I'm not going to let anything happen to you", ngl I was swayed LOL. I'll be pretty sad if he's really just an NPC. But the hopes are a little dim (he doesn't know what public square dancing is 😭)

I shall continue to observe in the upcoming episodes 👀👀

Putting aside her way-too-obvious bias for Hua Er and Xiu Er, Man Er's mom is frigging DYING and there you are screaming and shouting, distracting and INSULTING the doctor that's trying his best to save her mom?? Absolutely aggrevating!!!

I would've thrown hands too if I were Man Er, there's a limit to how unreasonable someone should be acting!

Holy cow my hate for the grandma is just rising 🫠

Imo it's a pretty fun watch so far, had a good laugh at some one the scenes.

And yes the both of them are still very cute in this drama 😊
