Thanks for coming back. Missing you. Love your comments. 12 hours to go for Ep 13. Waiting...
Nah no worries, chingu. Yesterday I got a lil too sensitive because I stumbled upon some comments on Tiktok sharing false information about this drama. I lost control of my feelings for a while, because I love DWY a little too much. 🤣
I am learning not to trust ratings on here. I am watching Bright Eyes in the Dark and loving it yet the rating…
Ohhh don’t get me started with HL! The blind hate it got at that time infuriated me. Most of them came from either main cast members’ haters, or fans of another similar drama also airing at that time (not gonna mention it here).
"Why do I think some of the negative comments/reviews seem like they’re from trolls?"Elif Kim, I feel bad that…
Hi Kathryn, my dear MDL friend, thank you for the reminder. I understand that we shouldn’t take everything on the Internet personally.
Just that I can’t stand seeing people blindly judging something without knowing the full context. I’ve seen some comments like those on Twitter, YouTube & Tiktok as well. Some of them even try to influence others by sharing false information about the drama.
I may be a little too emotional yesterday, but I’m okay now. Still, I’m determined to try my best to support DWY and shield it from unreasonable hate and backlash.

Yup, this drama is the type of drama that needs you to see it for yourself before judging. Some even decided to drop it before watching. It’s their business, I don’t care. But when the ones who haven’t watched it yet judge it negatively, I feel quite disappointed.
I agree that there are genuine and constructive criticisms said about this drama, but I noticed some of the negative reviews seem like they’re written by blind haters/trolls.
I’m not into fantasy dramas but I really want to watch this for Rowoon. Would you recommend it, is a lot of…
YES, if you ask me, as a Kdrama fan of more than a decade, I really recommend this drama. It’s what made me go back to Kdramaland after being in a Kdrama slump for like 2 years.
The fantasy only involves spells, black magic and modern-past lives crossover (more focused on their modern lives).
The storytelling/narrative style is non-linear. So that’s where it can get confusing at times. But fret not! The writer drops hints/easter eggs along the way. You just need to connect the dots then everything will start connecting.
The love triangle also doesn’t affect the main CP’s relationship in a bad way, but as a plot device to bring their relationship forward.
You’re going to watch this for Rowoon? Then, all the more reason you should watch it! Honestly speaking, I was never a fan of him. I didn’t understand why my bestfriend is obsessed with him. But now I do. His acting & his character in this drama made me instantly become his fan.
You might think his character is weak at first, but if you pay attention to details, he actually protects FL. But I don’t know why some viewers can’t see that.
I’d like to think that no one among her colleagues who really cares, or no one could accompany her. I think…
I think from the scenes where she went to the location and the plant nursery alone, the writer wanted to show her character development. She’s used to being alone, she forgot that she finally has someone to rely on.
Until finally, ML scolded her for doing everything alone when her life is in danger. That made her realise that she doesn’t have to do everything alone anymore, given how dangerous the situation is. IMO, their conversation at the plant nursery was kinda satisfying.
BTW, I’m sorry to know that you’ve had a stalker before. I hope you’re okay now. Stay safe!
This drama doesn’t only have one director, but THREE - including Jo Bo Ah and Rowoon. Their newest BTS clip is my sort of entertainment while waiting for episode 13. 😂
I always get carried away when it comes to things I love though. *sighs*
PS: I think you’ll love Rowoon’s character here.
Hahaha I was too sensitive yesterday.
Oh the amount of love I have for this drama…
E.g. the scene where they were buying clothes. It was not an expensive boutique. And ML didn’t react 😦 like in most cliché Kdramas.
That one simple scene was very refreshing to watch, after a long time.
I’m in a good mood today because I just got a job offer! So my mind decided to forget what I felt yesterday. Heheh

Thank you, chingu! ❤️

I was actually serious when I posted that comment. But… *sighs* I don’t think I can stop visiting this page. :’)
Why do I think some of the negative comments/reviews seem like they’re from trolls? Or maybe it’s just me. 🤣
EDIT: When I said ‘some’, I meant SOME.
If you find yourself confused about how the spells work, you may read the discussion here (don’t read now if you don’t want to be spoiled!).
