Sorry, just need to rant here.Found a Kdrama content YT channel with a big number of subscribers who posts shorts…
As a Kdrama content channel with a lot of subscribers, I expected more but it was truly disappointing to see something like that coming from her. Automatically unsubscribed.
Found a Kdrama content YT channel with a big number of subscribers who posts shorts of this drama but under some of her edits she posted comments like
“Should I continue watching this drama or drop it because I’m not invested in it”,
“I’m not enjoying the storylines and the chemistry but I still want to post scenes that I think are cute”, then proceed to saying
“I feel guilty for posting edits of a drama that I don’t enjoy”
GURL seriously? Make it make sense please??
It’s totally absurd and disrespectful to the drama and its fans when she’s a big channel that posts edits of a drama that she herself doesn’t enjoy, WITH comments like these, using the “it’s just my personal opinion” card.
I find her actions very rude and hypocrite because clearly, her so-called ‘opinions’ will influence the ones who haven’t watched the drama yet as her posts usually gain high engagement. She only looks like an attention seeker for doing things like this, IMO.
It’s best that she posted those edits without saying anything, or just don’t post at all.
Those who labeling her weak are simply wrong. and don't understand human behaviour."We also act to avoid social…
Same here! I’m so glad that I chose DWY to watch first before any other dramas that people recommended to me when I was in a Kdrama slump.
My initial thoughts were
“what could be different about this one than the rest of Kdramas?”,
“will it be just another trendy Kdrama that I watch to kill time without leaving any significant impression on me?”, and
“Is this another Kdrama with all-perfect characters and storylines that will end up falling flat towards the end?”
And then it went beyond my expectations. It gives me all the feelings I used to feel with older Kdramas, but also doesn’t feel over-cringy or overdramatic.
Views on the leads’ chemistry are more subjective than views on the plot & character buildings.
To me as a non-fan, Rowoon and Jo Bo Ah have good chemistry on and offscreen, especially during their characters’ dating era. They look comfortable with each other and they deliver their characters very well.
The cast choice for every character in this drama is perfect. I couldn’t ask for more.
It’s a government job tho. And it’s not easy to get a job either. How can she resign? She put a lot of efforts…
Agreed. I would resign too, honestly speaking. But only if it was a private sector. Wouldn’t dare to lose a job under the public sector. 🤣
I admit that I’m not as strong as her tho. I only managed to held in my emotions for a year at my first job which was very toxic. But Hongjo has it worse than me, so salute to her. 😂
But watch it with an open mind. Go into it without any sort of expectations. Relax and enjoy.
It’s a light-hearted drama for light-hearted people. :)

And both ML & FL don’t cheat, technically.

As far as I know, this drama is doing well in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, etc.
And on Tiktok, I noticed a lot of viewers from Malaysia and Indonesia are loving it. 🥰

I like the fact that even though you’re not one of DWY fans, but you always deliver your ‘negative thoughts’ in a thoughtful way.
Frankly speaking, your critics about this drama doesn’t sound so negative at all. 😂

People assume he cheated while misunderstanding the whole context of the storylines.
They seem to judge and assume a drama or character from black and white views only. I think this drama is too complicated for them.

Let’s learn to accept different personalities of Female Leads.
Get a grip = 정신차려 (jeong-shin-cha-ryeo)
His name = 장신유 (Jang Shin Yu)
So when he says “Jeongshincharyeo, Jang Shinyu” it just sounds funny to me because it rhymes. And like a tongue twister 🤣
