Punn is younger, he is innocent and pure. I don't mind him being as he is, he is also conscious that he has to mature, but he has time, and I love that he is inspired by his loved one to improve.
He is a lovely character.

But I think she learned at the end, because at the begining she aforded to be selfish with everyone but her brother, but after losing her daughter, she woke up. Her attitude changed.
I think people are even more complex in real life, that is why I don't find people boring ever. :)

Title The Third Charm Spoiler
I don't see her that way, from the start she wanted money , she said so her self she wanted to be rich...So after…
She broke up the first time because someone exposed her weakness ... she did so without explanation and the inocent guy had no closure. She showed she had no consideration for him.
The second time, she showed up and acted like she did nothing wrong. They got back together but she kept giving hope to the doctor. She wanted success, after feeling like a loser in the past, and she felt good to get attention from a successful guy. She broke up with her boyfriend for the second time because this time he did not submit like before, he was calling her out on her bullshit. She traumatized him the first time :)) But after breaking up with him, she regretted but he was ready to try to move on.
she rejected the doctor at first, but I bet he kept pestering her and gave in, she looked happy in the flashbacks (but we can say the same about her and JY, before she dumped him) because she had nothing to affect her mood, but still, it was not love because when tragedy struck both of them went against each other. They were a couple that could have coped together, but instead, they tore each other down, so the support system and communication were not built throughout the relationship. Which made sense because that is what she was like even before. She closed herself off, as he in a way, blamed her for the events.
She returned to JY, not as a relationship, but as a companion, because she was finally ready to open up.
The doctor was an asshole from the start because he kept flirting with a woman that was already taken.
As for JY, I don't blame him for anything. The only mistake he made was accepting the confession of the other woman.
I saw that he worked hard to change, found his calling in life, and pursued what he wanted, but emotionally he was not healed. The detective insisted on seeing him and she confessed (if it would have been on him, the relationship would have not existed, because he would have never confessed, as he had 0 feelings for her). Instead, he naively thought that is they are similar and he works hard, he could make it work (which it did, it worked, but he was not in love). When he saw Lee Yeong Jae again, he figured it out. He did not intend to hurt the other girl or use her, he genuinely thought that if he puts in effort and attention, he would fall in love, because they have things in common and she was good-looking and a good person, but the only thing he managed to do if to make things functional, but not authentic. It was too early for him to accept the confession.
I think that is why both relationships failed because the foundation was not genuine or for essential reason, the base was superficial.
After their horrible experiences, the 2 main characters were mature and started connecting how they should have, by actually opening up, and talking about their deepest and darkest experiences. They took their time to "see each other" and build trust, they learned patients and how to appreciate the simple things (what is truly important).
We also saw that after everything, both returned to the place where they felt most authentic when they met coincidentally.
This is how I saw things, I was paying attention to their personalities a lot and the small details.

This has a plot. A good plot but it lacks good drama to make it interesting. For longest time, it is all about…
You know this is based on a true story from Japan, so it's not quite a normal couple. As comunication in Japanese culture is quite complicated... mostly when it comes to women and sex.

Title The Third Charm Spoiler
People hated YJ more but I HATE JY the most 😡 my god the ML character is so frustrating!!!!!!! I don't blame…
I don't see her that way, from the start she wanted money , she said so her self she wanted to be rich...
So after a hard life taking care of her brother, her priority was to work (she wanted a career) and be stable and not feel like her actions were not enough. She wanted a life style in which she makes money and provides comfortably for her brother.
He is also the only one she cared for or was dependent on her, and she never needed to explain herself to anyone or be considered to others. All her other friends were independent.
When On Joon Yeong came along, she enjoyed that he was putting her first, and she expected him to always cater to her, that is why she never explained anything to him, and did what she wanted when she wanted, at the same time did not try to communicate or build a true emotional connection.
When it came down to it, all her relationship she was inconsiderate to On Joon Yeong, and kept the second male lead as back up, as she with her own mouth never put a limit for him, even if she was dating On Joon Yeong alredy.
She liked the idea of the guy doctor and the life style of being a career woman living in a big city, because she thought it would fill something she was feeling empty about, and she thought it would make her feel like a success in life as she had a complex about being a failure (that is why she did not say she was not in school/ a drop out).
So she broke up with the simple guy, because she thought they don't fit together, and then she regretted it. Married the other guy/ option 2, because she settled for what was left, and unfortunately seemed to not be able to live without regret. It was not guilt that fed up her life, it was regret...
And it can be seen as she needs others to encourage her that she made the right decision, she runs after him, and she also breaks down when eating his food and still wears the gift... Even at their date (with her husband) is not happy, their relationship also started in a nasty way.

Title The Third Charm Spoiler
I was held to this drama by the acting . The questions are Why did they even break up the 2nd time? She was chasing…
True the guy was an ass, but the girl encouraged him, I understand girls and guys being friends... but the way she acted was strange. Even if the first time it was a misunderstanding, the moment she found out her boy friend is jealous she should have made it a point to be clear with the other guy she has a partner, but the guy found out about him when he saw the "couple shoes" they had, and when the mail lead introduced himself. The girl was encouraging the guy indirectly, did not care about her boyfriend's feelings, and kept accepting to spend more time with him. Why did she go to dinner with him (that was a date)?! Because she is keeping him as aback up, the girl does not love our main guy.

Title The Third Charm Spoiler
Frustrating show. Two people who love each other deeply, aren’t happy apart nor together. Mostly, they don’t…
I felt like the girl had no consideration for the guy what so ever, she did whatever she wanted and when she wanted without explaining, and that is how she left the first time as well. She took out all her frustration and insecurities on their relationship at first, then she expected him to be the one running after her solving their problems...
She was never considered of his feeling, but at the same time she was bad at communication, but she expected the guy to be waiting for her.
She is quite a selfish character. All these characters are not bad people but they all have an exaggerated trait that sabotages them.

Am I the only one a bit pissed because of Bai Xue Lu? She single-handedly put in motion a few horrible events all story, innocent people died because of her, yet she did not pay a bit!!!
There is no part where she asks for forgiveness, she just plays along with the heroes even if she literally plotted against them many times.

So I tried to watch this one because it’s a sequel to The Longest Promise which is currently airing. I was interested…
Yes, I am the same I watched until ep 24, but I will try to finish it

I am confused by the subs. Are they cultivating (using spiritual powers?) or are they using formations and magic? Because depending on that the genre changes...
The book was a Xianxia but the series seems to be changed into a Xuanhuan.

And how was he portrayed as a savage now? :))They are just stupid people that are exaggerating because they don't…
Korea ia a homogeneous country (of the same kind; alike.), yes Korea... that does not mean that other countries are represented and are homogeneous lol :))
You must be the same because you assume things about others as well, what you consider "criticism -problematic depictions", I don't in this case, as I don't think it was meant with bad intention. this case was not bad. I also think woke culture is retarded, and a lot of stupid people in general, have a louder voice than the people that actually communicate and listen. Also I have a feeling that a lot of people are offended for other people, I just feel that a lot of Arabs don't feel like Korea's opinion is the main opinion and they are more confident about their image in t he world. No Arab person that I know thinks a k-drama defines them and their culture; the majority of foreigners that I know have their own experience, interaction, and general knowledge, about/with other cultures (countries/people, including Arabs) so they already have their opinion and are not influenced by a fictional depiction.
There is no way I would watch this series and think, it's real and it represent a majority, but maybe I am just older and I know how to use my brain, while others let the internet think for them because critical thinking is non existent.
Before there was no representation, and foreigners barely had roles in other countries, now Korea is opening up and they are slowly changing, but still "nothing is good", meanwhile USA is reinventing history with lies presented as facts, as literally bean making fun of all other countries, has been racist (while presenting itself as the most open and diverse) but are still getting support and Hollywood is calling its victims racist... that situation is a problem, because it's with intent, this one not intentional (ignorant but not a deliberate attack).

You know this is a fictional prince, right? It's not based on a real prince. He hes a Arabian prince, and his belief is not mebtioned, not all Arabs have tobe muslim. They created an arabian prince that is random, and very non specific.
You can be be and Arabian prince without being Muslim because is fiction.
Just like I created a human character that spits fire :)
The laws or reality are different than the universe one created in fiction. I kept saying in other comments it's not based on reality and it's not a guide line of how Arabs are.

I am calling some stupid, the ones that think that 1 foreigh representation, makes the world look at all in a bad light, and act like the character defines them. When the majority of people don't actualy compare the real thing with a drama character. Also I used the word "people" as I was refering to all that get offended for others and so on. Never thought about only a specific group, culture...
