I'm glad they're portraying Mai's resiliance rather than milking the tortured soul trope esp considering we've already seen that. DoDoHead, she deserves all that and a bucket of kimchi dumped to the head!

Quentin Tarantino uses that throughout most of his movies. The story is almost never told in a straight linear fashion but mostly from different points in time and views from different characters. It's entertaining when you start to peel the layers when done right. This drama definitely seems to have at least some influence in its dark comedy format as the story progresses. Only on ep 5 looking forward to see how it plays out.

Ikr? But one of the things I like about this drama is that they actually progress pretty quickly and not milk a story point for weeks on end. It would be a real shame if the ML somehow stays with her that long in the show! 😖

I watched the first two and told myself I'd drop this but found myself following up after a day or two.
Family Register is another 30 min drama I started over a week ago and ended up binge watching all throughout the weekend. For a 30 min daytime, that one's been really good and less reliant on rage baiting. I totally recommend it. 😆

I don't know why I keep getting suckered into these types of ridiculous dramas just to watch, get pissed off then come back to find out what happens and continue the cycle. 😖
