Finally got to watch the latest ep. What a contrast the 'General' is when he first met JN. Hiring her then firing her and now proving once again that he's not someone you take for granted or f with! DH, that Donut Head is so brazen and self absorbed she thinks she can take on anybody? Can't wait to see her 'find out' esp when SU confronts her!
It was satisfying to see YJ put SU in his place. She, SR and JN pretty much laid the smackdown on him with the truth bombs. Obviously stepped way outta line esp attacking JN. He was so confident until SR showed him what JN made for him. Although I have to agree when he showed SH and said 'What is THIS?' Have to agree, JN could do better but it's the thought I suppose?
Although imitially I was disappointed in SH for just standing there while SU berated JN in the other ep, I suspected he didn't want to make the same mistake as his sib and jump to conclusions. As mean as they've been, like YJ said they're still trying to resolve and heal from their own traumas from the past. I get it. JN is obviously the more mature one. I like the bond YJ and JN have. They're obviously the reason this dynamic and the show works. The idea that 2 women can have a friendly relationship despite being with the same man and having his kids is generally absurd but this drama does it well.
TO offering to be in a relationship with JN, can't tell if it's cuz he's really trying to look out for both JN and JH or if his intentions are more on the selfish side? I can't remeber atm does he know JH is into JN?
SR looks great. It was cute to see her excitement when YJ showed up w/ flowers. A whole week and no JA! Not cool.
Atleast, we got to see Seri slap Seungwoo twice! that made me so happy!!
Ikr?! I was waiting for SH to step in and say something but he just stood there then later asked SU ifbhe was sure about what he knew. Yeah I get that feeling too. Kind of like a defense mechanism. He's anticipating getting hurt before it can surprise him s'why he's cautious on letting his guard down and be close w/ JN and SR. It's convenient everything DH says is what he feared and gives him an excuse to hate on them. Which is such a dick move but goes to show the trauma he's still affected by like you said.
