That was literally what I was thinking. The show alone runs at an hour and a half! All I care about at thos point is what really happened to BDM. But after the whole body swap thing I found myself playing Solitaire on my phone before changing to a different program.

I knew we were in trouble starting when Mr. Bang somehow survived that steep fall into that shallow stream..I mean...just HOW? IF anything he shouldve been paralyzed but nope.

Or the part where he was escaping the hospital only to be killed by a bomb at the well which literally was a HUGE ass digital clock with what seemed like plenty of time to run away and survive but instead commited suicide. I mean why go through all that effort to live in secret just to show that you 'really did' die?..lol

IKR? Seems like theyre focusing more on what twist or shock factor can we add than just focussing on the building on the plot.

Ok the 1st Penthouse was good but 2 and 3 seemed like it was either rushed or written by a totally diffrerent team/writer? I honestly cant tell if this show is suppose to be taken seriously or it's intentionally trying to use the plot twists as some tongue and cheek comedic device?

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with over the top but too much too soon gets annoying. The constant plot twists is becoming more a distraction than intrigue. I like the actors but that alone isnt enough to keep me interested. IDK will wait and see whether to drop or not but. The whole K plot seems so unnecessary. Anybody else feeling the same?

Ah~ I C. Too bad. Like Tinkling Watermelon he brought charisma to the show. Interesting Ryoeun will be in it. I haven't read the webtoon but is the flashback part of the source material? Thanks for the heads up!

Has that been confirmed? Any word as to why? Correct me if Im wrong but his character is still alive isnt he? What a bummer.

Agreed. Although I'd love to see the characters back together If they make a S2 it'll be hard to recapture that dynamic everyone enjoys considering they'd be much older but who knows maybe it could bring another dimension that'll be enjoyable or it could become some cheesy Sci Fi dramedy that didnt need exploring.

I haven't watched those so I can't say but if you've been watching the show you won't know til you see for yourself no? But based on your comment I'm pretty sure you'll like it.

True. Kdrama used to be a pretty niche to the rest of the world. I'm glad it's become more exposed and has found popularity thanks to platforms like Netflix and Prime but of course in the end it's still a business studios will throw more money and milk a show by making unnecessary sequels or terrible westernized versions that miss the mark lol.
If there is a sequel I'll watch like the first few episodes out of curiosity and if the main actors and director are involved.

That girl's acting really drove home the pain and loss of SHE's youth/ and overall just wanting to be loved. I dont think it wouldve hit me as much if they shot it straight and also couldve easily turned out corny.

lol believe me i get it but from what I understand this is based on a 3 book series. Dont ask me what the story is about though. For me the main thing I enjoyed were the father daughter like dynamics of the characters and the actors chemistry. The doctor's experiment wasnt the main focus which seems like what the ending alluded to if there's a sequel.

Seriously! Also the girl who played young Seo Hye Eun at the end. Wow. So much talent for such young actors!

lol that's actually a back scratcher and as someone who has been hit by one I know how much that must've hurt.

Definitely one of the best of 2023! Curious which direction it will go with that cliffhangar if they decide to do a sequel but also kinda hope they don't and leave as is.
