Zhou Zhishu getting all smiley around Wen Kexing in the last couple of episodes, accepting him slowly and acknowledging him as a soulmate? Just kill me with sweetness , why don't you? I am definitely a-Xu kind of girl. :D

I am waiting for the red one to see the details. If they are anything like on the green one, it will be amazing. But, I am biased, green is my favorite color. ^^

I honestly want that Wen Kexing's green costume from episodes 10 -11. I'd wear it myself. Dark emerald green is so beautiful. And it works so well on Gong Jun. Can they even up the costume game?

I am someone who is already reading the novel, but I had to say that this is one exceptionally thoughtful review and the reply. Informative, but also has a point of view. I wish people on this board communicated more like this. You made it better today and it was about WOH. Perfect. Thank you. :)

The eight episode was both sweet and funny and the plot seems to be moving forward. I am going to die waiting for the next subbed episode.

Though the second part of the last episode was lacking in 'whoa' factor, overall I am happy with the drama and I rated it purely on my enjoyment factor. Is it the best drama ever made? Far from it. But I thoroughly enjoyed it and could have watched another 40 episodes, easily. I really do hope they make season 2.

One more episode to go for me. I want tomorrow now AND never. There better be that second season.

From the previews of the next episodes, Tang San continues to collect rings and old geezers who first want to kill him and then adopt him. :D

I haven't read the novel or watched the doghua and I am thoroughly enjoying the drama. I have fun every day and I can't wait for the new episodes. The cast is all good looking and their acting is decent , while 'older guard' has a lot of charm. It's well filmed and I like that at least men have more naturalistic makeup. Plot wise, this is every shounen anime ever from Naruto to My Hero Academia, so nothing new or shocking but, for me, that's part of the charm. It's a perfect watch for the pandemic - you know the good will prevail, so you can relax and cheer for the Devils. :D
