So I'm watching a series called Khemjira where said Khemjira is cursed and will die soon if he doesn't undo the curse. Yet, for some reason, Khemjira for about 5 episodes has only been doing housework, crushing on the guy who refuses to help him properly, and talking romance with his friends. Why the main character is playing Cinderella ?!
The series was great in the first 2 episodes but now Ramphueng took a back seat and they're focusing on an underdeveloped romance and a love triangle. I signed up for horror but it seems the writers took the romcom scenic route.
Guess I'll have to reframe my expectations in order to continue the series since I'm still interested in Ramphueng and JetChan.

I know all that, I've read the novel. No one has seen or heard of an Enigma. It's like a new discovery made a couple years ago IIRC. There are like 1% of the population. Yet, you want SSY to believe his omega bf is an enigma because of a hunch ? HY strength and hearing ability doesn't mean he's an Enigma. He could've been a more powerful S class alpha, same way SSY is stronger than SWL.

But does that mean he's an Enigma? Is it sufficient proof? Also he didn't show SSY, SSY catched him using his ability.
I understand why HuaYong lied at first, to approach SSY but he should have told the truth once he knew SSY liked him back, or even when SSY questioned him in last ep : explain everything he did, how he has used his powers to make SSY his exclusive omega, and show him his speed and strength, even used it on SSY to make him believe he's stronger than an S class alpha.
What I mean is a conversation was needed. Hua Yong never tried to explain anything so I don't agree when people justify HY's manipulation by saying SSY wouldn't have believed him.

Come on, he just had to tell him and prove him by using his enigma strength. Sheng isn't dumb. Let's not excuse Hua Yong's lies.

Ok, I need to forget the webtoon to appreciate the series. It's not going to be as deep as the webtoon (no pun intended) but it's still entertaining.

I love Domundi's couples but you're totally right. That's why I'm waiting for "Duang With You" to change this pattern.
Also, I think TleFirstone's mini series Secret Love doesn't quite follow the stoic/damsel in distress trope.
