I dropped it after ep2. I don't like overused tropes in my GL such as lack of communication, men involved in the couple's love affair, grown women that can't say no to their family, long separation.... Same with The Secret of Us : I finished it but didn't like it.

I wasn't fond of LS back then cause neither the plot, directing or acting was good. I watched this new version to see if they could do better than the OG. I quite enjoyed ep 1. I like ProgressAlmond better than CaptainWhite. They're good together, no awkwardness unlike CaptainWhite.
Almond is a cutie and he seems to be the best actor in the cast.

Favorite episode so far! The awkwardness, the tension, the UST. Everything was perfect. And I love that Sea was the one who initated the kiss.

Pleasantly surprised with Leng. He's acting way better than I expected. OhmLeng's chemistry is great, effortless.
I was expecting a darker tone since the first trailer was serious. I wanted more. I forgot it's GMMtv...Now, I'm working on lowering my expectation to avoid disappointment.

Tell us you don't know what you're talking about...Most GMMtv series are mid but they have some of the best actors in the industry : Gun, Singto, First, Khaotung, Ohm, Perth, Nanon...

People really don't know what they want: complain when it's slow burn, complain when it's not. Neil's attraction to Sea has been subtle but there from ep2 : he gets a bit shy when they're close and he's protective of him.
Not eveything has to be in your face, sometimes you have to pay attention.

I can't with these old school plots! It's dumb when MCs fold so easily against family obstacle. There's nothing romantic watching grown ass women behave like kids and accept everything their parents do. I've no interest watching these GL.

SDL has me in a chokehold! I spend my days thinking about Amasawa & Isumi and I rewatch each episode at least 3 times lol. I've so many feels for this series. I swoon when Isumi makes a cute facial expression, I swoon when Amasawa stares at him with tenderness. The sugar is too much.
This episode shows the shift in Amasawa. He thought of Isumi has a friend but now his feelings are getting clearer to him. He was staring at Isumi like "Is this love ? Am I in love with him?" 🤣. Now, he better make a move cause this slow burn is burning me too much.

Yes! Omg, I'm tired of this narrative. Everytime I criticize a jbl the worshippers says "you don't understand, it's japanese culture'', or "you need to understand japanese culture to appreciate the series". Bullshit argument to justify poor script and narrative choices. Meanwhile thai bls get dragged daily, sometimes for the smallest flaw. I hate this double standard.

Agree. I've loved Gun for years but since Not Me, he's not all that. I feel like he's phoning it. Meanwhile Off has improved and can hold his own against Gun. For example, he was good in Cooking Crush, he seemed more invested in it than Gun imo.

Yep, that's exactly why I couldn't get into the series. I guess I'm shallow because I can't believe a pretty boy like Ishida would be attracted to Mitsuda. I mean, I love old actors like Tom Cruise, Bruce Willis, Denzel Washington and I would follow them home if they'd ask me but they're handsome men and don't look as old as my great grandpa... I really question the cast choice here.

I don't feel bad for Wann cause he should have read the room. Ai never welcomed him with a real smile or real interest. He's being polite and sometimes friendly. Wann shouldn't have accepted Yo's help. That's childish and imposition on someone.

I love them! I can't with the slow burn. Baby Isumi has to confess, cause Amasawa-san isn't going to do it. He acts like Isumi's boyfriend but he's oblivious and it's understandable. I mean, why would he think this cute college student likes him, a 30yo police officer ? Like, it would be presumptuous, right ? Isumi needs to gather some courage and tell him clearly.
Can't wait for next episode. Hope the bed scene is not a dream.

Cute but annoying because they repeated the jealousy act throughout the episode. We get it, they love each other. At this level of obsession and skinship, it's quite unbelievable they haven't yet questioned their feeelings for each other. Cause ain't no friends or sisters acting like that! Is everyone blind in this household ? 🙃
Hopefully next episode they remove their blinders and we stop going in circles.
Kudos for the opening scenes. The chemistry and sexual tension were perfect. Wish we had more GL series with this heat.
