I totally agree with you. Heesu didn't love CY. It was a little crush, superficial; It can happens with the people you've grown with, people you've known all your life. However, it doesn't negate my pov. The issue isn't about the love Heesu had for CY but how the series failed to depict Heesu's growing affection for SW.

I agree; but the series is trying to pass it as a crush/love. It comes late and suddenly. It would have made more sense if Heesu had became aware of SW in ep 4 or 5, thinking about him more and more. Then after learning about CY & JY, he would not have been affected much. Leaving 4 episodes for him to get close to SW and falling in love with him. I understand what they tried to do but the romance is off because they chose to present this story as a youth drama instead of a BL.
Despite everything, my biggest disappointment is how quick Heesu developed feelings for SW. They focused on everything (ChanYeon & Jiyu, ChanYeon's tennis sessions, the carrot juice mystery and the sisters shenanigans) but Heesu falling in love gradually with SW. How do we go from Heesu barely talking to SW and going circle around CY to Heesu having a crush on SW ? If only they had given them more meaningful scenes! The two moments I can think off are when SW sleeps at Heesu's and Heesu learns SW has two moms and when SW takes the blame for loosing the foods during the group outing. Is that enough to like someone ? Especially when all you can think of is your bestfriend ?
Slow burn doesn't even apply for the series cause we didn't see the main leads interact enough and meaningfully for 6 episodes, thus removing any chance to witness real connexion and growing romantic tension. Slow burn imo is Lost in the Woods, ATOTS or Futtara Doshaburi. Not whatever Heesu in class 2 is giving us.

Business as Usual. So far so good. Lost in the Woods. I had no expectation but I'm very pleased. My Golden Blood. Camp vampire story. That's a fun watch. And of course, Top Form. SmartBoom's chemistry is insane, though I'm not loving the series.
Quite an uneven series. First story felt short and unfinished, 2nd story was great in all aspect. And 3rd story was boring (and I didn't care for the ending). Hope the last one will be as good as the 2nd story.

I bet he was chasing MinJun at that time, even before talking to him. And was even asking for advices from his suspicious bestfriend. We can also guess that MinJun broke up with JinHwan and left town soon after, without letting him explain anything... I hate korean dramas misunderstanding!
Finally what we signed up for. Ep5 was excellent. Heesu came back to himself (annoying dork) and we get to know more about Seung Won. They're so good together. I also love that Seung Won has two moms, it's quite fresh for a Kbl.
