That's not what New said. It was planned as a 2 part series. They only filmed part 1 with the first two couples, expecting sponsors to fund part 2.
The lack of screentime for JohanNorth is due to a "mistake" of New's team : they had 3 scripts, one of them with less screentime for JohanNorth. The author approved the script with more JohanNorth's scenes but they didn't coordinate properly with her and used the wrong script.

I agree about AuauSave. Their acting is more natural, more pleasant to watch imo. I'm more interested in RealHia than FahTeerak.

It did and I quite agree with you about Dunk, but then you made a generalization when you def know there are great actors in the bl industry.

Kidnap suffered from this. It was never promoted as a dark action series. It was clear from the trailer it was a romance and the actors said it several time during promotion events. Yet people were disappointed and trashed the series from start to finish, never addressing its qualities. It's definitely not the best bl of the decade but it's still a good heartwarming series that deserved better.

In which way THK is similar to others GMM series ?

Fr, I don't even care about the negative comments anymore. This is nitpicking at its best. The plot is dramatic for fun, not supposed to be believable and the acting is wonderful, what more do they want ?!
Tbh I have such a good time watching THK cause the series doesn't take itself too seriously, compared to Jack & Joker that tried too hard and failed in the middle imo. THK delivers exactly what it promised.

They ruined nothing since the series isn't based on the novel. The novel was written after they were done filming, based on the series's script.

Hum, JohanNorth's story is a bit better, as in more interesting, but North is also infantilized if we're being honest here.

1- I think it was a couple months before their first encounter. It seems like Win did recognize Fai but didn't say anything.
2- Where did you see Win admire Yotha ? I missed a scene ?
3- Nobody broke Win's heart. He broke up with is gf when he fell in love with her brother. When he and Faifah became friends, Faifah help him to win his crush.
4- Nope, Win will go to college next year, he will officially meet Yotha and Faifah; start a fake relationship with Faifah and ultimately fall in love with Faifah.

It stays stupid for the first couple (ArmArc) but gets better with the second couple (YothaGun). Their story is more interesting.

People criticize Kant and swoon over FadelStyle as if Fadel & Bison aren't killers who deserve to go to jail, as if Kant wasn't coerced into working for the police... Of course, you can have a favorite character, a favorite couple but please, understand what you're watching, remove your blinders. THK isn't just about which pairing is cuter or which couple is more romantic.

Every KantBison's interaction has me stressed. I'm like Kant, smiling cause they're so cute together yet I'm fearing the moment his deception will be out.
Some people are disappointed , they say they don't feel KantBison, they don't see the love story happening. I'm saying that the whole point! This isn't a love at first sight, heart shaking kind of romance. This is about two guys entering a relationship for their personal gains : Kant, under duress to save his brother, and Bison because he wants to be a normal person and wants to be loved after years of having no life due to his job.

Of course Kant is a pos for lying to Bison yet Bison is a criminal so he should be stopped right ? And Bison keeps demanding honesty from Kant while lying about his life. Yet, it's understandable cause it's not something you'd confess to your new boo, right ?
They're both using each other. And that's what we're seeing. Kant protects his heart while trying to get a killer arrested, and Bison is burying his head in the sand because he wants this love to be real but he's still suspicious of Kant.

I just love how FirstKhao are acting this whole mess of a relationship. You can feel it in their eyes, their smiles, their body language. It's uncomfortable and sometimes awkward. This is great acting.

He's not the best actor but he's doing better in THK. If you've seen him before, you can see he has improved a bit. I suppose he's more comfortable playing a carefree and funny character, who is quite similar to his own personality.
Hope he'll continue to improve for their next show cause it seems it'll be a serious series.
