I totally agreed. While I like the series I still feel it's not genuine. It left me a bit unsatisfied.

I hope. Don't get me wrong: I like Mike and I want him to succeed. My thought was more about Krist's ability to act genuinely. We'll see.

I think Vegas is indeed manipulating Porsche during this conversation. However I believe he does like Porsche and seems as somehow a friend. So while it was a manipulative tactic, he was also being truthful.

This episode doesn't make sense to me. Tawan was let to wander off in the house, living his best life. They didn't even beat him up to make him talk! Those guys beat people up to collect money but they don’t touch a traitor ? I rolled my eyes when Kinn gave Tawan his phone. Like, really, your bodyguards don’t have a phone for security purpose but you give one to the person who betrayed you ? I hope Kinn put a wire in that phone or else the man is very stupid !
Also, why would you assigned your new lover to monitor your ex-boyfriend ?! There are 50 bodyguards in that house but you choose Porsche ?! Isn’t it asking for trouble ?

I wanted to trust Kinn. I thought he was playing dumb and had a plan devised with Porsche to catch Tawan. But at the end, when Porsche thought Kinn had came to see him in jail, the way he said « I knew you’ll trust me » …Did I give Kinn too much credit…or is it a scheme Porsche isn’t privy to ?
Also, why are they even suspecting Porsche when the guy didn’t even know them last month and didn’t want to work for the family ? IIRC, they knew they had a mole before Porsche enter the scene.

Another thing that bother me is they didn’t explain how Tawan is still alive. Didn’t Kinn say he shoot him ? In episode 8, I suspected he couldn’t kill him and let him go and lied to protect him, the same way he told Porsche to run away in episode 6. But then he was shocked to see Tawan alive. Tawan said he got captured by the italians, but how and when if Kinn killed him ? Why nobody asked about that ?

Pete’s reaction to Vegas is interesting. He’s always uncomfortable when Vegas is around (who wouldn’t with a guy that hot and dangerous ?). It seems Pete is already attracted to Vegas, but his suspicion and fear of him make it complicated. The way Vegas was looking at him during this episode was both intense and creepy, like a predator who has found a new prey to toy with.

I understand VegasPete fans are disappointed they gave an important line to VegasPorsche but it doesn’t mean there’ll be no important scene for VegasPete. They certainly wrote another confession scene that might be more impactful than the one in the novel. The importance and the depth of VegasPete’s relationship isn’t negated because Vegas showed some vulnerability to Porsche. This line said to Porsche doesn’t have the same weight since we know Vegas is manipulating Porsche (though I think he does like Porsche and sees him somehow as a friend). I believe they’ll give VegasPete a meaningful scene even if it’s not one written in the novel.

Your comment made me laugh! But I don't believe Vegas loves Porsche. He's attracted to him, sure, and there's this obsession he has with taking Kinn's sexual partners. So he may thinks he's in love but I see it more as him having found a friend, a confident.

Vegas is indeed creepy. I get that he has a inferior complex because his parents compared him to Kinn all his life but to sleep with Kinn's sex partners is... wow.
How long the torture will go on ? I don't see how after being torture by the guy, Pete will keep talking to him to the point of developing feelings. Can't wait to see that.

Is that why Vegas will torture Pete? I've not read the novel.

First episode was ok except for Mek. He's unlikeable (too childish and stupid).

Exactly. He's a man child and he's stupid. He spoiled the experience for me.

That's one of the reasons I love SCOY, the MCs (NueaToh) are horny for each other, no one is acting shy lol.

Dropped it after 10min. Peach Girl is one of my favourite mangas but I couldn't get past the overacting and the fact that the actress playing Momo wasn't even that tanned!

And that's it for me. I lost the small interest I still had in this series when Kluen's ex-girlfriend came to Daonuea and resolved the conflict between the guys. Like, they couldn't finally have the MC talk?! The girl came like a savior and literally excused Kluen's inability to communicate. Such a juvenile plot.

Oh no, episode 6 was such a let down! Why did they feel the need to add this manufacturated conflict when AthipPoon barely got together? Poon's actions make no sense this episode.
He didn't do his job proprely, yet he didn't expect disciplinary action. Some customers got food poisoning because he didn't manage the team correctly! Any other chief would have been fired. The fact that he's angry at Thip for the sanction shows that he indeed (subconsciously?) thought he wouldn't get punished.
Then, the biggest wtf: he went to the competition. I was on board with him when he decided to reopen his stall during his supsension but why would he work for the competition while still being employed at Athip's restaurant? Who does that? It was stupid and disloyal.
I did like this series, despite its flaws but I can't deal with characters acting OOC and stupidly.

Poon is the new head chef, he replaced Mayom IIRC, so it was his responsability to manage the team accordingly. And if he couldn't do it then it was his responsability to warn Athip. Mayom even apologized for not doing the handover with Poon, implying that it's Poon's job now to redistribute tasks.
Athip is CEO, he's not working in the kitchen so it's definitly not his fault Poon didn't do his job correctly.

The plot is all over the place. The series doesn't know what it wants to be : a fluff romcom? a thriller ? There's not enough time to add a jealous roomate and a stalker. I could have done without the female character since the subplot related to her doesn't bring anything interesting.

I've noticed YT comments are always very positive to the point of being ridiculous. I never see negative comments. It's like people posting there have no critical mind...

Seng is wonderful! Lot of people are praising Billy but for me Seng was the revelation. You have to be great to act a character like Toh and still make him likeable and funny.
