Okay let me start first by saying that I might be in the minority but I loved this ep! I felt that things actually moved forward, maybe not with the main couple but the characters in general.
Now that I got that out of the way, this might be my first time not minding if the main couple doesn't end up together. Okay, hear me out. JYZ is extremely frustrating. I get that he has a trauma, but every character has developed at this point except for him. He already got all the push that he needed, and I think he should have at least said something by now.
The ex kinda surprised me tho because I like him a lot better now? To me it doesn't even seem that he wants JYZ back, he just wants to help the latter heal his wounds. Anyway JYZ better sort out his issues first before hurting someone else (or "baiting", as Hank Wang said in one BTS lol).
I just saw the IG live of the cast after the latest ep aired and it's so funny seeing them react to fans' comments about the main couple development being slow af lmao. Even Taiwanese fans are airing their grievances against the director (in which the cast laughed their ass off lol) so we're all in this together I guess ๐
I had this show for so long on my list because I see lots of people talk about it, but then I saw that the main song is by Hoshino Gen and I was quickly sold???
Too early but I have some theories(?) for the finale based from interviews and random stuff. Idk I just want to…
Interviews I've seen so far talk about: - A place where Jin Yuzhen and Shi Lei agreed to meet - A hot scene that the lead actors describe as "two nuclear(? sorry I forgot the exact term but it's very similar) forces holding on for too long coming together causing things to explode"
Theme songs constantly talk about: - Agreeing to meet some time - One of the song is literally called "40 Days"???
So my theory is they'll spend some time apart and after some time skip they'll meet some time in the finale. Thanks for coming to my TED talk ๐
Tbh I can make do with the second couple getting less screentime. At this point idc about them anymore and the show should use every minute to move the main story forward.
Also I can't believe they're dragging the ex-bf conflict to episode 11 T_T If there's no season 2 or some special episode, I hope the final episode is an hour long or something T_T
I'm soo relieved they didn't drag the fight for too long and they quickly made up. I was nervous that it would drag until the ex gets to them which will make the conflict worse so I'm glad it didn't!
Thanks for the list! I've only watched a few Thai dramas but I agree with ATOTS. Even if it was not BL it would certainly be on a league of its own.
Though if I may have to point out, the title is a bit misleading lol. I was expecting to see Top 10 dramas (based on ratings, reviews, etc.) but turns out it's Top 10 /fave/ dramas. Good article tho :)

Also as a Chuang fan, I was so surprised to see a Patrick cameo in the end lol
