A cute and comfort drama for me. I like the unbearable cuteness of Esther hehe. The story of the ML and FL is…
Same. I liked the main couple but because of having 35 episodes, they dragged the story a bit too much. Also the second couple didn't have chemistry in my opinion, they gave them a very basic story which wasn't even executed well. I think they were trying to fit all the cliches in it, faking the disability, hiding the truth (about meiran), love at first sight, deliberately making her stay and so on. A simple story could have been better though.
For me, it was a good drama. Not great but a good drama to watch. The fl was funny, cute, quirky, the ML was upright at first but always went with the FL's antiques. Lol. I didn't like the second couple though and because of having too many episodes, the second couple also have a decent amount of screen time which kinda ruined the things for me. At point the story seemed dragging to me, they could have made it a 24-26 episodes drama and it would have been more than enough with great chemistry. But they made it 35 episodes with drag. But anyway, the drama was decently good, funny, the fl was truly a drama queen, loved her for that.
I just realized that Tae Min was the brother from under the umbrella of the Queen. I didn't realize it before but upon seeing him in Joseon clothes and painting, I was reminded of his role in that drama.
This guy is such a convincing asshole, the second I see him playing a villain in something I have yo watch. He…
Seriously. Just saw him in brave citizen and while I was going through his profile, I realised that I have watched his ML dramas as well but his acting didn't leave an impression there. But his roles as villain were mind blowing! His simply makes you love his hateful characters.
front reviews are not looking good as usual: welcome to mdl where global rating of shows and movies are better…
Seriously! It was such a crazy movie. I just finished watching it and came to praise it here for it's amazing work. The story, cast, acting, action scenes, everything was just perfect. Yet I am seeing such poor reviews and many felt like it was not a good movie. I mean it might not be your type but it surely not a bad movie or okayish. It's crazy!
I hate bullying themes and in SK they love to show them especially over exaggerated, and always with no help,…
I get your point but you need to understand that movies or dramas, they're not just pire fiction. Especially movies like these, they're the reflection of the society we live in. If you noticed, in dramas, the bullies mostly comes from the wealthiest and powerful families. Do you think people gets beaten up, the teachers are scared and police cannot do anything to them just because of the bullies are strong? No! They're scared of their power, the power which comes from money and connections and the rooted corruption in the system. The laws? Rules? They're surely there but unfortunately, most of the times, the rich and powerful people and especially the protectors of the laws, knows the loopholes of the so-called law which can easily put the innocent man tagged as a criminal and the criminals who does heinous crime, can spare them for no evidence. It's not only about Korea but a bitter reality of today's law system. So these kinds of movies are not for sick entertainment only but to give a slight hope and determination among people to fight back and make them feel that you're not alone in this cruel society. For me, the plot was amazing, showed the corruption in sports, bullying in schoole, the death of teacher due to bullying and pressure? There was even a true recent case in SK about it as well. Everything was well portrayed and the cast made it even more better and phenomenal.
This MOVIE is truly an underrated gem. I don't usually watch movies but this one was in my watchlist for quite a while. Because it not only has SHS but such a thrilling story. I had seen it's bits here and there and fell in love with the FL's badass character. She was strong, badass, brazen but was also learning to mingle in the society. It felt like a strong woman do bong soon without power version, lol. The whole cast did a great job. The villain, he was so good at his job that I fell in love with his character, not in a literal way. He was so hateful that every punch he received felt so satisfying. This drama was mind blowing, make you anticipate for the next scene. I loved the relationship of SHS with CCH, they're such a cool pair from The Queens. Wherever they're together, they nails that drama/movie. I loved how she was a supporter of hers in this drama as well. After watching so many romance dramas I need an energetic thrilling drama to balance the sweetness and it made me feel so thrilled.
It's actually a very good drama. Just not your type.
Yes. The drama and the dialogues were indeed good but it was the actors chemistry which made it better. I continued watching because since their first encounter in the episode one, I could feel their pain, their yearning for each other which made me curious of their story. Their eyes were so much expressive and their chemistry was off the charts. They definitely suited well each other.

True. He looked as if he didn't care but from the starting, his eyes were on her only. He was cold because of his circumstances and what he went through and she was warm like sunshine because of her family's protected nature. While she gave him warmth, he became her shield.
i was rooting for ha bin and then i was like what is that guy doing like sir please get your head in the game😭
Seriously. 😭 He took their votes too seriously. He became cocky early on, causing everyone to lose interest in him. 🫢😭 For me, he was the handsome among all and I thought he would be like Han bin from last season but he was not even close to him. Han Bin was a true treasure. 🥹😭
I've been following this even before it came out, but somehow i've been putting it off because most jdramas to…
Same. When it's trailer was released, I thought it's going to be a tragic or sad drama so I was avoiding it. But when the drama was released, I didn't watched it for 2-3 months and putting it off. Then I asked someone to spoil me if the ending was sad or happy. When they told me it's happy, I finally gathered the courage to watch it and tbh, the first few minutes in the drama and I already felt like crying. Because their expressions, the set up, the gloomy setting, everything felt so heartbreaking. I am glad I watched it and loved every bit of the drama. Many times, when it's younger and adult version drama, one cast does so well while other couldn't do as much well. However, here both sides did so well and it was very much believable that they're the same people, the emotions, the love, the tears, everything felt so real, touching. I wasn't a fan of jdramas before this but when I watched this one, I was sold to the jdramas. I had watched some jdramas before but only fun, rom-com kind.
It's actually a very good drama. Just not your type.
I have watched lighter and the Princess and loved that drama. That drama is in my top 5 Chinese dramas. And when I started this drama, the fl reminded me alot from the fl of lighter and the princess. Both had pampered, innocent, princess vibes and in a good way.
Our of whole show, I am enjoying the girls gossiping and telling their feelings. It's just so funny how nonchalantly they're talking and discussing how the men were treating them as if they're the only one choosing. I saw Han Bin and I feel he really cannot handle his alcohol, it kinda ruined his impression. I am liking Jin Seok more and more, he wasn't my pick first but his nature is really good and unexpected.
It's not easy to get a new drama recommendations when you have watched almost everything. 😭 Btw here are some…
Haha. It's so hard to find a drama that is good and you haven't watched it. Because even I have watched almost all good dramas and has to rely on ongoing dramas.
atleast in the previous seasons they all liked and respected each other why are they all acting so unbothered…
Exactly. More like the dating show it feels like influencers survival show. Lol. Second season was best for me in regard of contestants showing their emotions and expressing themselves and treating it as a serious dating show than only playing around and winning it like a trophy.
The cast changed again? I am not gonna visit the page anymore until the cast is finalized and the shooting starts. Otherwise my expectations will keep on rising with this drama
