curious as to who is the designated chef for this season LOL the cooking sessions gotta start soon
For that they need to give them something to cook. I mean, they're giving them raw food, not letting them cook anything. That segment used to be sm fun. 😭
I was bored so I was rewatching s1 and s2 and YALLLL i just noticed how in the previous seasons, the girls were…
For me, S1 was the worst. Idk but everyone were stuck on one girl which made things much more annoying and complicated and there is nothing more than only one girl. I actually liked S2 because we got to see more couples and contestants and some real talk and emotions. We had seo hee who was stuck in one sided love and then seo Jun came, their chemistry was so natural and cute. Nadine, who was such a diva and everything was like an experiment for her which was so funny and cute and the way she expressed her interest in jinyoung was so fun to watch. There were so many things to talk about that season and contestants, that's why that season remains the best in my memory. I haven't finished watching 3rd episode completely but after the twist and turns, I feel more than dating show, this one is more focused on game, survival kind of thing. It's more dramatic, kinda fun and thrilling but not so much about romance. For couples, I actually liked the chemistry between gyu ri and min gyu. I liked him with ha jaeong as well but didn't expect that kind of twist lol. For me, Gwan hee is not so my fav for now, because he said so many things to hyeseon and then later says he didn't liked her that much after. I mean, that's what I feel but his comment kinda looked out of place, not necessary I think. He could have expressed his feelings better maybe. I am actually surprised to see min young and Jin Seok clicking, that was a surprise. Let's see what happens later.
I haven't liked any contestant as much yet but the twist and turns sure make this show interesting. For me, this show is not for romance but for drama, fun and of course paradise food and amenities, lol. More like looking for a partner, it feels like matching game to win a reward kind of thing. Also, the conditions this time is much more worse to make people not so comfortable at inferno.
I wish I hope LGBTIQ+ people participate in this program. not everything is hetero-cis romance.UPDATE: I know…
You can watch HIS MAN 2 if you're looking for that kind of content. The second season was such a blast and I feel better than this one. The feelings, emotions, was raw and real whereas this seems more like influencers gathering kind for me.
TBh I hate her mother's character here. When she payed the loan, I thought she might change but her annoying behaviour has no limits. Like she doesn't want her daughter to find a boyfriend or get married just because she needs to pay for bills for her and her older unemployed brothers. That's so irresponsible to say as a mother. She didn't do anything or save a penny for her marriage but wasted all the money that she saved all these years just to give to her sons. Even when she cooks expensive food, all of it belongs to her sons. The sad thing is, I have seen such people who gaslight their own children and act as if their life will collapse if they don't stay by their sides but they suddenly gets energy to hangout and have fun. Even between children and parents, there should be a boundary and space which Hyo shim doesn't have at all.
I actually loved DingDing and the Director, even as characters and a couple more than the main leads. The leads…
Yes. Modern cdramas for minimum have 24 episodes but I hope this changes according to the script because sometimes there isn't much in the script and dragging the episodes to 24 episodes looks boring. For his chemistry here with the fl, I have half half opinion. At points, they do have a chemistry, and at points, that chemistry feels to be stiff and forced. I feel it's mostly about the writing and dialogues more than the actors. The actors are doing pretty good in terms of doing their roles but something seems to be lacking and that seems to be the dialogues and how their relationship shows to be developed. It was a good drama to me, but nothing great or I would like to watch again even as short videos.
I didn’t initially like DingDing and the Director as characters but as love interests they are so cute. I absolutely…
I actually loved DingDing and the Director, even as characters and a couple more than the main leads. The leads somewhat lacked chemistry in my opinion. The ML had more chemistry with the girl in Only in Love more than here when he is the ML. I think if this drama had 12 or 16 episodes, it would have been enough. There weren't anything much in this story so if they had speed up some process, it would have been a better drama than this. I actually liked secondary couples more than the mains.
I don't understand the hate for dex? Nadine was my fave too but as someone who's following both of them, they're…
Seriously. I was one of those people who were rooting for Nadine and Dex as a couple but even if they weren't successful as a couple, they're good friends. As Nadine said, SI2 was a great experience for her which helped her to approach relationships in a new light and made her realise that it's alright for her to make initiatives as well. Also, I am following her and she is living the best of her life, same with Dex. I feel His personality didn't come out much in the show but I am following his other shows and he is such a nice and considerate guy, which was contrast to his manly and not so responsible guy in the show. I am so happy to see him here again and people need to chill a bit even if their ships weren't successful. They're also people after all, with different goals in minds.
meet yourself was realistic as it did not have a superhero with no flaws.
Meet yourself was indeed the most realistic drama I had ever seen and for the first time the male lead was not some wealthy, freaking rich CEO or lawyer or doctor or even singer. He was working hard to bring opportunities to his village and it was such a comforting drama. However, my comparison was in relation with the feels and vibes it gave me and how it didn't have any negative character you see. Everyone was so nice and supportive of the main leads, just like in love my voice.
oh gosh this is so good, makes my standard for men going up XD and the fl ahhhh such a cutie ;-;
Seriously. He is greenest flag in the cdrama world. I mean, he was perfect in every way, looks, singing, manner, niceness, on top of that doctor. Lol. He is everything.
This drama reminds me of Meet Yourself. There is not a story going on, just the characters living their life. There is nothing as such a villainous character, or an incident which is too intense yet I found it so intriguing and loving all the episodes. It is one of those soothing, comforting dramas that pulls out you from a hectic, fast paced routine and makes you experience the slow yet comforting love. They did a fabulous job in casting, the female lead is cute, innocent and gives newly bloomed flower vibes which needed for the character. If the actress wasn't good at her job, her character could have become so annoying and corny but it isn't. I started it yesterday and already binged it to the latest episodes.
I didn't planned to watch this one because I recently finished a very intense Cdrama and also watching a rom-com which was okayish to me. So I was planning to start the kdrama instead but I just tried this one because all the good dramas are ongoing rn. However, I was shook when I started this drama, it's rare for a fl who is innocent and so sweet to not be cringey and annoying. This one reminds me of the girl from the lighter and the princess, her character was also a pampered girl and knowing much about the world. This drama is very unique, slow burn but definitely keeps you anticipate their interactions.
I love how every episode ends with some cliffhanger or interesting point that makes you wait for the next. The best part is it only has 12 episodes and is fast-paced just like perfect marriage revenge. I can't believe we're already half way through the story and I am loving it, the chemistry, the way the leads are portraying their characters are just amazing. For the first time, I am actually liking Bae In Hyuk as the ML in a drama, these kind of historical genres fits him so well. Him as Tae Ha is just perfect to me, although he is nailing both timeline characters but him being Tae Ha in Joseon hits differently.
Seriously. I keep going back and forth on the page to see the update. It's been more than 2 hrs now.
Seriously. My problem is if I don't start a drama while ongoing, I kinda lost the feeling of watching it after it completed because I almost know the whole story from reels and shorts now. 😭🥹 I still need to watch castaway diva and just trying to start it.
