It's not easy to get a new drama recommendations when you have watched almost everything. 😭 Btw here are some of my picks - though most of them are popular ones.
Meeting yourself (not exactly the same but vibes are, but best drama), Lighter and the Princess, Love is beautiful, Go Ahead. I cannot remember much dramas at the moment but here are some.

You said it so well. It doesn't have much plot going on but they still managed to make such a long drama a worthy of our time. Not a single episode was wasted or boring, never expected that seeing characters just living their lives would be so soothing and comforting. I was in need of a good Chinese drama at that time because there are so many good ongoing kdramas coming that I needed something to watch first to not start watching them already. I even watched I may in love with you, something like that and didn't liked it personally. And this one I started with the same casual mood, expecting that it wouldn't be that good and would just judge it after one episode. But then I binged 8 episodes a day when I started it. 😭🤣 Time passed like crazy. This drama addicted me sm that when I finished 18 episodes, I didn't even realise it. It was so good.

1? If people are doing that, they're nothing but trolls or have a really bad preferences. Because even if it's not your type, you don't rate a drama like that. Not a sensible person do that at least. Right. ML is a 10 for sure. I remember seeing him in lost you forever as white hair man, demon or whatever he was. I watched half of that drama but loved his character. His acting was top notch and wished him to be the ml lol. But later I realised that he was the same guy from that drama. Even the fl is so cute and not forced cute, which came as a surprise to me. Because many dramas has failed because fls couldn't act as cute and their cuteness turn into something annoying or cringe. But shangshang is so cute that even her friends like to protect her.

You did the right thing.

The drama was indeed amazing. And you worded it right, they tried so many things and could have gone wrong at so many levels but nailed everything. Like the ML was doctor and voice actor and such a great singer and good at cooking too. Like what can he not do? The FL was good at singing, composing and is pampered by her family and so much loved rather than sandwiched between family drama or parents who ignored her whole life? That was such a refreshing thing to see in dramas. Otherwise, fl surely have some family problems, even ML was not entirely ignored. It's just because of the work and he understood rather than hating them for life. the main focal point was their relationship, music and food and it prevailed till the end. We loved this multitasking couple.

Naah! They are the most unproblematic couple and has a very sweet chemistry. I was worried for that too but the more you watch it, the more you will like them. The most non-problematic drama ever.

Yes. This drama might not be everyone's cup of tea who loves drama, fast paced stories with some dramatic plot. It's a slice of life drama and a comforting drama with slow burn but good chemistry. It's a good drama for those who enjoy these kind of dramas.

For what I can see, they're just blame gaming here on Tang Ying. She shared her doubts and wanted to take some time but that Mr. Zheng asked her to hurry up and not ruin the merger. He was the one who hurried her when she clearly told him her doubts about him visiting to macau and other details. TBh this show boils my blood at times but unfortunely, such situations are very common in workplace and that's even more infuriating.

Exactly. I stopped watching at episode 16 and yesterday planned to continue watching it but seeing everyone's comments, I realised that it's not going to be an enjoyable journey ahead. Because even though 16 episodes, I have fast forwarded most of the scenes. This drama seemed all over the place for me. I loved the interactions between karakade and pudtarn, I like her interactions with the King but I feel her interactions with the ML lacked the chemistry. Since it's following the first season, we of course have some expectations but I still tried to take it as just another drama but I couldn't when all the faces are of leads are same lol. I actually liked the new faces they added but didn't like the idea of utilising the same leads like before. Children looks exactly same like their fathers, not one but two was a hilarious concept. This season's political aspect was quite lacking, the first half they didn't have much of the story going on and as you said, the ML was weak, coward and always let pudtarn handle the things. I can see things happening that way because despite holding such a high position, he doesn't have the power and strong mentality to handle things. I waited for this season so bad but it also turned out to be bad for me. 😭😭

So true. After so long I have seen a FL character who is so much in love, much younger than him but not a follower. She is his fan but I like how they keep their business seperate. She loves him sm yet she didn't joined perfect voice when he asked her and said that she likes her studio. It's interesting to see both of them working and growing on their own while also falling deeper for each other. It was the first time when the ML was caught by her family and confidently introduced himself and the way he said that he was dating her with the thought of marriage. Dang! It was one of the most rarest moments in the dramas where the ML says something without thinking 10 times. The thought of marriage comes so naturally to them. Finally writers are doing some good job in writing healthy relationships and characters.

Exactly. The first season has so much depth, the dialogues and everything had a reason and so much interesting than this one. The ML despite being the holder of such an important position in the royal court, he has shown with someone with very childish personality. Though I like the daughters, they had ruined this season by making the ML exactly like the previous season, that too twins. It's so awkward to see all of them in one frame, I cannot see Karakade as his mother when the next moment she has to act as his love interest. They coudl have at least made the ML look differently, though we loved the cast, it doesn't have to be the same ML and FL if they're making their children as the main leads this time.

Exactly. I thought it would be some silly rom-com. though I am a fan of rom-com but I cannot bear rom-com with toxic couples and bad acting and this one thankfully had nothing,. The ML was green flag of green flags, the fl was not a stupid follower but actually talented and cute but not annoying which was a suprirse. Because many types when fls were forced to act cute, some look awkward and diffuclt to watch. But here she was actually cute and even I wanted to protect her. The osts, the chemistry everything was perfect. I am just waiting for all the last episodes to be subbed and watch it.

That's good actually. We need to take time with these intense dramas or it gets too much to watch. I also watch the dramas while others going on as well.

Exactly. It might not be the best drama but for me, in the genre of comforting, slice of life dramas, it it one of the best Chinese dramas for me. Because despite being characters so simple and humanly, I don't find it boring or dragging. The chemistry is so good, even with supporting cast and make you smile all the time. It's one of those dramas that you want to watch after a long tiring day and don't want to think about anything. It's that kind of comforting drama.

But it was indeed a good drama. Definitely a worth watch. But yes, if it would have been old me, who didn't like historical and intense political dramas much, I wouldn't be able to complete it. Because it has so many episodes with so many things going on. But thankfully after watching Love like the galaxy, I have gotten immune to such dramas and glad I watched it.

Exactly. I recently finished the story of kunning palace and it was intense, kept me on edge all the time. After that, I needed something slow, comforting and soothing and stumbled on this drama. It comforted me so much and brought me peace after a very intense drama. The story is refreshing and their love story is so cute and the ml is the peak of green flags. Like seriously.

Just because something doesn't seem good to you doesn't mean it's trash. You could have expressed your opinion in a more proper way than saying this. Because this drama has high ratings because many people are liking it. Not every drama has to be fast paced, all about villains, twist and turns. There is genre called slice of life. It's a comforting drama with slice of life and a slow burn. So if you're not into that kind of romance dramas, it's definitely not for you. But it doesn't mean everyone will have same opinion. There is always a way to put your opinions so that others doesn't feel offended either.

I think it's mostly about different preferences. For me, I actually loved thier chemistry and even though this show is more like slow burn, I am loving it. I can watch slow burn romance as long as it's good and portrays the awkwardness of being someone's first love and stuff. The story is well written and it's so rare to find all the characters so nice and positive.
