I will suggest watching it ongoing because one can get easily irritated if you binge watch it. It's good but it is hella slow and realistic melodrama. So it might not be upto the liking of everyone. You can watch first two episodes and decide your take on it.

From what I am seeing, the writer is giving subtle hints that PMY is not as nice and friendly as she seems to be. When sansoo said that he is not that nice when they were drinking wine, she also said that I am not as nice as you think of me.
I think she knows that sansoo likes ASY and I have a feeling that she started to like him more and chase him proactively after knowing their situation. Because that painting thing also seems deliberate as well. As if hinting that she can get what ASY cannot. That's what I think though. I can be wrong but I am getting this feeling now. I don't dislike her but I have a feeling that we're soon going to get her character revealation.
I remember her expressions when her mother said that she is taking credit of ASY's work. That expression and the way she explained that it was her work to begin with sounded as if she was proving that it was hers and not ASY. As if she was marking her boundary.

I never watched SMTM so I cannot say how it is better or worse than the other seasons. However, I watched this only because Young Ji was joining this show. I was never a fan of her however, I always liked her as a person. TBH I always thought that she was older than her age, she was only 21-22? That was shocking to me. She achieved so many things at such a young age and acts so maturely. The confidence that she has in her while performing was the best thing about this season.
I saw the season of High school rapper in which she appeared and won, she rocked all the performances despite learning the rap for 6 months only.
Even in this show, she did her best and won. Many people call her winning rigged, biased. The show can be biased, yes. Because they used Young Ji as a bait to gain viewers, which might turn off many watchers but also brought unnecessary hate to her. I could see how they were saving her for the end always to keep the suspense and keep viewers on edge. It was the show, mnet who was doing all this but many people do not understand this point.
As a contestant, Young Ji never performed under and got good scores. There were times she lost, she got lower marks than others which was fair. But many people use that as a weapon to say that she did not deserves to win. It was a competition where some might win and some lose but calling her loser for that was not fair.
She worked hard and had to think a lot more than others because she had so many things to lose than others which was burdening her as well. If her popularity was an advantage for her, it was a disadvantage for her as well because many people were thinking about her being popular and not considering about her bomb performances.
I loved her I am sorry performance and that witch one.
She won because she deserved it. It's not like the others didn't deserves it or lesser than her but they all worked hard. the only difference is, one person has to win the show and that was her. If you cannot appreciate her and acknowledge her skills, do not talk low about her as well. It was not like she wasn't good or won after performing under, she always gave her best in the performance and gave a complete performance, from rap, to strong vocals, stage presence, she had everything.

Seriously. I really wanted them to be together and when Seo E started her speech, even Se Jun was expecting rejection but she said Yes. Yes! I was squealing when she extended her hand and their conversation was so funny and cute. I think the conversation between them when no one was in the paradise worked so well for them. I really wish to see them together but I doubt if they're still together or not. How I wish like Transit Love, they would have shown then and now thing. It would have been so exciting to watch it.

Right? There are times when I feel frustrated by how the story is going but it's still somewhat addicting and I always come here to watch every week and even waits for it.

I like how cool he is. I mean, he doesn't stress over things and even seo e didn't picked him for date, he wasn't disappointed and appreciating her decision. I liked him for this reason and be is effortlessly funny and gets along with everyone, despite such a short time he had spent with them.

Right? As if they're the same people. 😭 It felt so real and the leap didn't felt disconnected from the drama because the actors did a great job. We can see how much efforts they have made to do the casting. I lowkey liked Myeong Ho. 😭 I hate myself for that.

Tbh I don't watch these kinds of shows as I am very sensitive to bullying and bloody content. I wasn't planning to watch this show either. But after seeing the hype and watching some reels on the insta, I was attracted to the storyline. The actors did a great job, even the bullies. Like I hate them but they make me think twice as long as I wasn't reminded how they tortured the poor girl. It's such a well written drama. I can't wait for the second season and I think it was a great thing that it's coming in a series. Because it keeps the viewers on edge and they will watch all episodes at once as soon as it will be released. But it's not good for my poor heart. How am I going to wait until March? It's so Farr.....!! Though I am sure it will go in blink while watching other dramas and shows. But still. I cannot wait to watch the second season. Lee do Hyun is picking up some different scripts and all characters suit him so well. Like he has done school boy character, youth of may, sweet home, and this. However, I still remember him from hotel del Luna. I cried so hard while watching him. It feels so good to see him doing well.
Also, I am glad SHK made a praise worthy comeback. After divorce and flopped dramas people were questioning her talent and I am glad that this drama proved them wrong. She did a really great job in this show. 😍😍

I think she is regressed because she does not want to return to her old self as Naksu. By the end, mudeok had become regressed as well because she wanted to forget her past and live with Jang uk even if she had.no powers. But that bitch Jin mu. 😭 Otherwise we would have gotten the happy ending last season only. I still consider the first half of the episode 20 of the last season as the ending of the drama. Happy ending. 🫠

When she called him to gwido, i had a bad feeling about it. Because she does not even have her sword and I was wondering why did they even showed that ice stone. So it was for that. 🥹

Their bromance and Jang uk and naksu's kiss was the best thing about this episode.

Thanks. I watched until episode 2 now and it really gave me goosebumps. Since I don't watch these kinds of shows frequently, I finds them scarier than horror movies. 😭🫠
