I believe she's currently working on a novel called: Ten Years of Lights in the Night Rain in the Rivers and Lakes/…
Also, her books are so detailed and very long that it probably takes her up to a year or two to finish the product. Between rewrites, reviews by editors and the publication house. It's understandable that she only has 2 published books.
Does Niao Niao's engagement to Yuan Shanjian have anything to do with LBY's trying to safeguard Niao Niao under…
Now, tell me if you a prince who grew up with LBY and know his character, would you be willing to get married with his woman? LMFAO. Only one the guts is YS.
The writing and the acting make this drama so phenomenal. For instance, the empress has the most powerful position a woman can have in the kingdom, but she has nothing at all (which explains why she is overprotective about CSS, cause she brought some livelihood to her sad life.). The glances she makes as she sees the man she loves never reciprocating and enjoying banter with his beloved, knowing she will never get that are heartbreaking.
I think he's really matured as an actor since TLB.And he's definitely getting more confident for those kissing…
Dilraba? That woman literally kisses in all her dramas, and they are like deep passionate kisses too. It's Wu Lei who still had no kissing contract during TLB shooting. He is known as China's younger brother (he grew up on TV), so for many people they still saw him in that light and TLB was really his first "grown man" role, which I think he did to test waters if he can safely move up the ladder. Which did happen, and now LLTG has literally obliterated the young brother label. We will be seeing him getting offered more manly roles from now on.
I know right, emperor himself has married the love of his life and not letting his son do the same is I feel not…
Literally in my mind I am like, CP could have done the same thing the emperor did, if they had allowed him. Marry the woman he loves, and then the diplomatic marriage after. Save the poor CP the heartache, and once in a harem, those two women would have had to be cordial to some extent.
Phew, ep 39-40 had me in the feels. So ama sharing some of my thoughts.
1. Glad the Crown Princess' mask was removed, and hopefully, CSS has learned what LBY meant about people in the place aren't easy to read 2. The Crown Prince is completely not that innocent either. That banquet showed that they did still have feelings for each other. My thing is if you know that your wife is already delulu and was doing all these things, why would you meet her? No reason was sufficient on why they decided to meet up. If he wanted to help her, he could have just helped plan her escape route and funded it and left it at that. 3. Consort Yue proves why she is more capable of being an empress and even has more brains than the emperor at times. I also feel she knows more than she lets on, so she told LBY she would stand by him as he executes his revenge. 4. The emperor is starting to piss me off. You have seen how your son has grown in darkness and driven with a thirst for revenge, and yet you keep trying to block that path for him in the name of ohh once you get married, you will be happy and forget about the past. As a parent, you know if he doesn't get the closure, he will lose it. You have the power to help him do it lawfully, but with the way, he treated Marquis Yue, it became evident LBY has to take the unlawful route, if you will. 5. I appreciate CSS's growth and how she is now willing to be one body with LBY. Which also became evident in that conversation about revenge. She is smart enough to have picked up that those questions were about LBY and pertained to her. Knowing how she is and how LBY is, she realized that in the end, even she couldn't change his desire for revenge. However, at this point, she can only hope that he will be open and honest about it with her. 6. Which brings me to LBY; yes, I know he is afraid to lose CSS. He is afraid if she reveals too much, she will take matters into her own hands as well. However, as CSS said, he brought her in, and unfortunately, with everyone knowing that she is his weakness (exhibit today), she becomes an easy target for his enemies, shit could hit the fan, and imagine dying for something you have no full understanding off. So I am hoping LBY will let her in on the issue at hand sooner rather than later.
Me too. As always people will blame on CSS, gotta pass LBY because he’s hot. 😌
Also, I think it's about the way the story has been set up; right now, it is directed in a way to focus on CSS's growth as a person and as an engaged woman, hence why most of the discussion has been around her character. Once the story switches to focus on LBYs line and character development, then obviously, the discussion on his flaws will become more pronounced, at least that's my observation.
Also, another funny part of ep 37, was when YS showed up, and the official thought he was gonna be saved. Little did he know that's also "CSS's man" who is here to give support to the main man. LMFAOOO.
Good points! Perhaps it's because she's only temporarily staying at the palace? I wonder where NN's maid went?…
1. Remember Zisheng had tried to have people protect her and watch her and she didn't like that. That was one of their first fights after the engagement. And so he called back all his men and "spies" who had been spying on her from the start of the drama. 2. LJT was raised in the palace by the empress, Her maid would have been recruited through the vigorous palace process and trained accordingly. Unfortunately, for commoners' servants they lack that training and can't go in and out of the palace cause of rules. So that's why CSS's maid has never gone to the palace with her. 3. As to why she hasn't been given her own personal maid, I have a feeling it's just the fact CSS is pretty independent and personal maids back then was someone you trusted and most times have been together with. And also she is there for training, so she still went back home before the banquet situation, so having 2 personal maids makes no sense, especially since in the palace during the days she did have maidservants who followed her when she needed them.
And her outburst of seeing herself so high and mighty and the gasp in saying how 'no one can touch me cuz I am…
So if ya'll didn't realize or maybe missed it from the imperial edict that resulted in her aides getting killed and the convo with Marquis Yue, is that those aides were more than just gigolos. They were men she chose beyond just looks, it was her plan to have some influence the CP fight through these men. Be it they acted as spies, confidants who told her what was happening and all. This is because, it wasn't enough reason for the King to kill all of them just for being gigolos. LBY dug dirt that probably pertained to some grande scheme she had in place that warranted them dead. Hence, she is given the warning they won't be the only ones to die if she doesn't learn, that's a threat that we know all your undercover folks and those can die too. At least that's what I gathered.
So, LBY punishes all the girls by punishing their fathers, but the girls are still unscathed. What kind of punishment…
It's not fake punishment in that, many of these girls did atrocious things because of their father's and brothers identities. In that society women's footing were mainly determined by the male family members so it affected all aspects of their lives including marriage candidates, "meiza/ face" in the public and at events etc. By going after the men, Zisheng literally makes it worse for the girls because of what would technically happen now. 1. The men were paraded around town, which is very embarrassing, pretty much embarrassing and degrading the whole family and clan, so obviously each girl will face the wrath of their patriarch. 2. Now they are known to have been in cahoots with a princess that was notorious for having gigolos and doing all sorts of immoral activities, therefore that brush paints their reputation too. No noble men would want to marry a woman who is known to have frequented palace with gigolos cause what were you doing there anyway? 3. LBY then used this as an opportunity to dig up the families corrupt ways, and in an era were the King is adamant about frugality and not stocking up wealth, these men are bound to be demoted or even exiled, which as I mentioned women's standing depends on the men, these girls are literally stripped of every privilege that made them snobby. And for these girls that's literally far more worse, a nightmare if you will than getting a physical punishment.
I wonder why the 5th Prince didn't point out that Luo Jitong and her maid were there and didn't help CSS when…
LBY and Consort Yue knows LJT was involved. You think her maid can do stuff without getting permission from her? That's why Consort Yue snickered that ohh you surely are decisive about getting rid of her and looked at LBY when she was like I will see how ya'll resolve this. Cause if LJT hadn't known she would have tried to plead for her maid and also "admit" her failure in teaching her maid, but she doesn't cause the maid had been resolved to take the blame before she did the deed. LJT is shrewd in that she always makes sure it doesn't come back to bite her. LOL.
Hahaha I stayed up until 2 am just scrolling the comments section and then wake up at 7 am enough to water my…
I literally wake up, shower, make breakfast and watch LLTG. Then officially start my day's business after, and then during my lunch break catch up on comments. It's a disease. This drama has us in chokehold. Doesn't help that on the west coast air time is 5 am, so I am fast asleep. LMFAO.
