This drama almost a barbie doll drama. Slow-motion forced meetups and entries, Lighting and everyone stunned.…
The Disney-princess entrance of the ML at the part was eye-rolling corny. Lights conveniently dim while the girls AND guys stare at the ML in awe. lol
Nothing wrong with a Disney themed drama but I didn't expect a full-grown 30-year-old male lead character to be considered "Youth" genre. Plus, the 2ML character is probably 32-33 years old while the two FLs are around the same age. So, it's funny when the defensive viewers use that youth tag as an excuse.
Is this drama's target audience teenagers or something?
Spent the whole first episode to make you fall in love with the (assuming) 2ML but now wants you to like the "good-for-nothing" ML instead just because he finally changed his hairstyle for first time in his 30 years of existence. Oh, don't forget about the sudden change in clothing too; borrowed suit that looks like it was tailored to his body and dress shoes with ankles showing.
Then the ML's weak character will do a 180 overnight so the FL will fall for him, right?
To answer your question, Hao Chen's actions and expressions show that he may have feelings for her but he's in…
He's not a villain in the traditional sense. He becomes too obsessed with being "good" he ends up committing questionable actions. The theme of "good" sects never practicing what they preach.
I just started watching this (I’m only up to episode 7), just wanna know if there will be anyone else who likes…
To answer your question, Hao Chen's actions and expressions show that he may have feelings for her but he's in denial. He's the only other guy that may show some interest in her.
Si Feng actually realizes and he never blames her. He says it is his choice to love her, whether or not she loves…
True. Minyan also pointed out to reassure SF that XJ treats SF differently -- she never disobeyed her father like this before.
I think that's where the writing did really well too. She was clueless about love, but she was still stubbornly drawn to SF and we can see he means a lot to her.
I thought it was kind of heart-warming when she pointed out she would never harm/kill him. Even with the promises she made to her father and the other sects, she only planned to capture him and lock him up. She planned he would never leave her side hehe ;D
Ok, I'm still in episode 2 and I'm digging the lightheartedness of the story. I'm watching it on Youtube and everything…
Try the episodes from the Fresh Drama youtube channel instead of the Idol & Romance. I noticed the Fresh Drama ones have full music while the Idol & Romance ones do not.
When I'm watching dramas, the characters are one of the most important things for me as I'm deciding if I want…
I'm on ep 10 and the ML is actually very supportive of the FL's aspirations as a writer from the beginning. He secretively helps her a little here and there, but ultimately lets her do her thing. His unconditional love for her is very sweet.
The FL is strong-willed, assertive, and vocal -- so she's not a weakling.
I am surprised at how much I am enjoying this drama -- stumbled upon it on a random night.
To each his or her own:) I loved this way more than Ten Miles of Peach Blossom. I guess that's the beauty of being…
I agree. The writing in this one was superior. The 2nd love line here was much better than TMoPB -- even though Donghua is a badass with his white hair.
What do you think of SY and Guan Xiao Tang? I still don't think she's attracted to him at all but that whole scene…
It's a dumb plotline overall to begin with. I suppose the writer's goal was to watch the two leads spend more than half the drama away from each other and with other love interests.
WZ was so business-oriented she became lonely and ends up dating a younger guy. Looks like SY is going down the same path lol.
"If there's no feeling, she won't see me even up close. If there is feeling, there's no mountain high enough."
:'(

Lame.
For anyone contemplating, you may be better off watching some random amateur youtube mini-series.
The acting in this one is quite good, but the writing is utterly lame.
