Never seen such an irritating 2ML. All he does is stand there, put on his sad puppy face -- without even a tear -- every time while slowly ruin everyone's lives around him.
LLC deserves much better. FL was pretty much infatuated with the 2ML for no reason, so the ending with 2ML didn't make sense.

Probably because of Produce 101 China. She made it into the group, Rocket Girls 101, but... she could barely sing and cannot dance... So, she was voted in by popularity from fans.

I assumed she may just live forever in there since they talked like they will live forever. She did not look sick or weak too, so I'm guessing something is different about that place.

Yeah, all I can say is, for a Saintess and the "State Guardian".... the two leads really seemed quite useless…
The limited romance between Li Xuan and Long Wei Er was still 10x better than the FL. I was actually able to see that Wei Er slowly opened up to him and fell for him. Their romance would have been a solid story.
FL on the other hand had like one face throughout every scene. Most of the time she looked like she was constipated.

I actually finished it couple of days ago. I enjoyed it quite a bit. The FL was really good; assertive and capable. I almost gave up on her when she was pulling that noble-idiot act in the beginning. Refreshing to see a FL initiating intimacy; really good chemistry -- got steamy a few times haha.

Janine's acting saved the extremely flawed character. Her emotional gazes were heartbreaking.
I had a hint before ep 24 that she was the cause of the break-up. I didn't mind the "hidden mystery."
But her character to have the gall to get mad at the ML like she's the victim was rage-inducing. I'm glad the ML finally confronted (the scene in the house he built for her) how selfish her action was. It was encouraging to see her stating she will be brave to face him and tough it out. That quickly fell apart multiple times...

What the ML said to the sister has it ever occurred to them that the 2 sisters were not the only ones with a sad past was dead on. The two sisters are selfish af; 1st-world problems yo.

She breaks the ML's heart without any explanation and then decides to show up 7 years later like nothing has happened. And she has the audacity to get jealous/upset every time she sees him with the 2FL. Sad how even the dispicable 2FL is a stronger character than FL.
At this point, an unhappy ending would be better; don't see why the ML is in love with the FL when she keeps running away.

I'm guessing it's getting an 8+ (as of Aug 9 2020) simply because of Xu Kai... He was good.
