Okay now that I've calmed down I think the actors are okay. It's not their fault. The writer is to blame because…
It’s kind of a tradition that whenever the main genre of a kdrama is romance, they suddenly insert a random mysterious crime case in the middle just to make it “more thrilling,” supposedly.
please clarify my doubt didn't chinese censorship ban transmigration dramas but in this drama it is mentioned…
I’m not completely sure, but I know that China changes stories that revolve around the death or suicide of the main character especially when the character dies and or is reincarnated and given a second chance to fix their life. Chinese censorship usually removes or alters the parts that involve death/suicide or reincarnation and shows them in a different way. I’ve heard that as these kinds of stories became more popular, the suicide rate was also rising, which is why they became stricter about it.
But in this series, there was no death of Wan Yin in the real world. Both of them had a normal life in reality and were trying to survive. So I don’t think there was anything that needed to be censored. Another things that's the main characters didn’t need to “fix” their lives, and they didn’t even know each other outside the book, so there was nothing between them in real life that needed to be corrected inside the story. That’s probably why the censorship authorities didn’t have an issue with it cause they're completely strangers.
Also In both dramas 'Story of Kunning Palace' and 'The Double', the part that was censored was the death and the second chance given to the same character.
we’re already halfway through the show and my pookies barely have any screen time together. I hope when they reunite, their romance grows quickly because I seriously can’t wait!
the ending of the drama is more of a closure that they do meet again. the canon ending i take is the novel version.…
So do you mean that Xiaohu Dan is actually HER CEO at the company, and that all of this happened because of him??? Did that really happen in the novel? Wow, my mind is blown!
I'm in ep 14 and I have a question: Xiahou Dan has the world’s strongest person, Mr. Bai, by his side, so why…
I think that if they killed Xiaohu Bo, they wouldn’t know what would happen after his death. Maybe the story would get out of their hands and they wouldn’t be able to predict the near future. Or maybe people who side with Xiaohu Bo would plan a military coup and kill Xiaohu Dan. So I think they can’t risk everything just to carry out their plans quickly. By killing Xiaohu Bo, everything would get messed up because of his huge connections with everyone in the palace and the military.
I really liked the way the story unfolded. At the beginning, I honestly didn’t understand anything, but the timeline shifts made it really interesting. and So many precious lives were lost in the name of ridiculous ideologies. Here’s to freedom and peace for all the people of the world!
I’m on episode 8, and the cases in these episodes remind me of Epstein Island... Wealthy people (especially men), no matter where they are in the world, seem to feel the need to satisfy their hunger for power by hurting women. I deeply understand Li pei yi’s feelings. It’s heartbreaking that they get to continue living their normal lives while the victims have lost their precious lives.
Somebody explain it to me.. I understand main leads transmigrated to novel.. But I have a lot of doubt i don't…
I got a bit confused too (I feel like it’ll make more sense once more episodes are released). But about why they’re trying so hard to survive: in the novel that Wan Yin read, the cruel emperor is killed first, and then Wan Yin is buried alive with him as his consort. That’s why the two of them are trying to avoid the part of the novel that leads to their deaths. As for why Wan Yin started suspecting the emperor in episodes 9–10, the emperor himself explained the reasons for her doubts. So far, whenever events have deviated from the novel and someone has died, it has only benefited the emperor and harmed everyone else. On top of that, the emperor’s behavior is sometimes very suspicious.
The childbirth propaganda in South Korea is getting out of control… If they had been honest about the film’s genre from the beginning, viewers wouldn’t have been so disappointed.
I randomly decided to watch this movie, and I honestly can’t believe how amazing it was!! The opening style and cinematography were truly fascinating! It starts in a way that makes you feel like you’re the main character. As the movie goes on, both the storytelling and the filming style make it seem like you’ve gotten lost in the subway station alongside the protagonist, and now you’re working together to get through this strange maze and uncover the anomalies hidden in this endless corridor.
What really amazed me is how the writer and director seem to read the audience’s mind. There are moments where you find yourself yelling at the screen, “Turn back!” or “Check that corner!” and right at that exact moment, the character actually does it. That connection makes you feel even more like you’re part of the movie, losing track of time because it truly feels like you are the one trapped underground.
I honestly think the director is a genius, he managed to adapt a video game in such a way that the viewers feel as if they’re the ones playing, experiencing the same thrill and tension throughout the whole thing.
I truly enjoyed Romantics Anonymous. I think it’s the perfect drama for anyone looking for something that soothes the mind. like a little dose of free therapy.Just like its story, Romantics Anonymous is sweet and comforting, much like chocolate itself. If you’re a fan of chocolate and gentle, heartwarming tales, this one is definitely worth a try. Despite its calm and steady pace, every episode feels like savoring another piece of chocolate; familiar and sweet, yet you can’t help but crave that beautiful feeling all over again.
What I truly loved was the way it blended the rom-com genre with such calmness and emotional depth. Instead of the usual over-the-top humor and exaggerated effects, the story moved at a soft, graceful pace, like a quiet stream, peaceful and beautiful in its simplicity. Though the characters lived stressful lives, the drama itself felt soothing, allowing us as viewers to simply breathe, relax, and enjoy their journey. To me, that was its greatest charm.
Oh, so this is what love truly is and real love does exist? I always thought it was nothing more than a fairytale, but knowing this movie is based on a true story has touched me so deeply!
what actually happened at the very end of ep 2? He is waiting to travel from China to N Korea? and someone is…
Well, that river was the border between North Korea and China, and North Korea had tightened border security for military reasons and to prevent its people from escaping. Baek Sanho also couldn’t cross the river empty-handed and without anyone to guide him to rescue his grandmother, because the smugglers he had paid had also fled, leaving him alone.
Keep in mind that Sanho originally set out to bring his grandmother to live with him so that if war broke out, he could protect her. But now that he can’t rescue her from North Korea, he decided instead to protect Seo Munju, supporting her on the path toward a world without war and working to prevent conflict.
But after all, I still love this drama with my whole heart and soul. This year I have my master’s exam in chemistry, and I really needed a drama like this; the vibe, the dialogues, and the motivation it gave me. I hope that when I come back to this page next year, I’ll be successful in my exam, just like the students from Class 11.
When I read reviews and comments about this drama and EVERYONE said “don’t watch the ending episode,” I didn’t believe them and thought to myself, “Oh whatever, it’s not gonna be that bad?!” And right now I AM ANGRY AND SORRY BECAUSE I DIDN’T LISTEN TO YOU GUYS!
If you wanna watch the show, please PLEASE don’t watch the last 15 minutes of the drama, it’s not worth it and it might ruin the whole show for you.
