I just binge watched this in a day. I loved it but I have some things to share. 1. Mix is the star of the show…
Tbh the reasons for the breakup were kinda hinted throughout the series. It's not some incident that can be put in a couple of scenes, but it's about someone's behavior over the years in a relationship that viewers have to pick up from the hints. Alan was pretty mean and sarcastic when he was upset which made them fight easily, and everytime they fight he put himself first instead of listening to Wen. Also, although he was caring, he wasn't considerate. Wanting to do the things you likes with your beloved is okay, but you need to consider their likes and dislikes too. For example, he made Wen eat beef despite him disliking it. I don't know whether at that first date he knew it or not, but he should've asked what he wanted to eat first. And he knew Wen didn't enjoy eating it, but he made him do it over and over again throughout the years they were together. It's just one example, but it's enough to show his personality, and I believe eating beef wasn't the only thing he made Wen do even though the latter dislike it. It might be fine at first, but anyone would get tired of it at one point. I think it's good that Wen never spoke of those reasons explicitly, meaning that he didn't want to badmouth him. For me it's pretty realistic, as incompatibility is often the reason for separation in real world too, and it doesn't make them a jerk.
Whoa, my body was shaking by the end of ep 9. I'd expected it yet my heart still raced. Seeing the preview of ep 10, I can more or less guess what will happen to Woojin. It doesn't matter if it's Dr. Kim or someone else, I hope they'll manage to make him well again ðŸ˜

You know what, I take it back. Rung and Win deserve each other...I dislike them both
Oh no, what did Win do? I want to watch it but I heard the FL is annoying so I hesitated. I plan to push through with it after it ends for Perth but if his character ends up annoying too I won't be able to bear it ðŸ˜
I hate the fact that they have put this comedic spin on the husbands actions. Its forced and honestly it almost…
I think this is meant to be some kind of black comedy. Even if they put a comedic spin to the toxic behavior, they never missed to emphasize that it was a bad thing and how much damage his behavior brought to the people around him. Although they also did it in a slightly comedic way, it never miss the point.
I think if you can approach it to watching a Hollywood action movie you will be fine. Meaning that there are plot…
That's why I've never watched any lakorn except for Friend Zone, even that one I only watched a few episodes toward the end lol. I guess I just have a low tolerance for annoying characters 😅

Damn, that was one reason that had made me drop so many dramas in my entire life, except when I just tagged along with my sister. I have low tolerance for that kind of FL too, in addition to one that often embarrasses herself and always needs help lol. I really want to watch Perth though, what should I do? 😠Did she appear a lot? Like, more than 30% of the show?
Perth's acting is the one thing that's compelling viewers to keep watching tbh. He's making a bad storyline so…
Say no more about Perth's acting skill, it's the reason why he's one of my fav Thai actor. For Not Me, I just thought the ending was kinda rushed, although it felt okay when I binge-watched it. The only thing can be told about Black is his perseverance in pursuing equality and justice, since he had thrown away his love and family for it. GMM will never make any series without romance being the focus, and I think romantic plot would only destroy his character. If GMMTV could make something like Taxi Driver for him, only then I'd agree to him having his own series. Until then, I'm satisfied with how the series portrayed his character and how I interpret him.

For me characters hold more importance than plot. If the characters are compelling enough for me, I won't even see any plot holes. However if there's even one annoying main character I won't be able to go on, no matter how much I like the actors. What do you think about their character?
This is truly the most poetic and character-driven drama I've ever watched. It focused on the characters healing each other and themselves in the process, resolving everything that happened in the past instead of facing new conflict, and there's nothing dramatic happened in the story. And every character is just... a mere human. a flawed one, as they should be. The drama made sure we understood what the characters felt and thought, even the side ones. Even Eunseob, who didn't talk much and hid many things, was explained through his after-credit diary. Even the ending was perfect for me, the fact that Haewon didn't stay for good until the end was so realistic. It told us their story didn't end there, and that they'd keep on working to achieve their happiness together. It's not be the kind of drama I'd be eager to watch over and over again, but one that I'd watch once in a while when the weather is fine and I find myself missing the comfort I got from the drama. Definitely one of my favorite.
Seeing the comment is worrying. I was excited prior to the release since I like the cast and the premise is interesting, but GMMTV has a long history of disappointing me in this kind of genre so I've been hesitating to watch this. Even Not Me, which is my favorite and imo a masterpiece has quite a disappointing ending. Please do tell me, is the series that much of a mess? I love Perth, but I wouldn't be able to stand it if his character is annoying.
Well, I think the part where Gaipa's mother passed away is also one of the lesson this series want to convey, that sometimes you can lose someone important to you in a second without warning. At least for me it feels that way instead of it being a tool for the plot, unlike how many other stories treated death. This series is just full of lessons, and that's exactly why I love it.
Love it. This is my favorite among all BLs that have been released this year, and in the top 5 of all BLs I've ever watched. It successfully kicked Bad Buddy from the second place lol (the first place is of course, Not Me). The reason is simple: every character moved me in all kind of different ways, even the supporting characters. I really love character-driven story like this, it feels like I can really connect with the characters. The acting, the pacing, the plot, the cinematography, the editing, everything is great for me. I like how it touched all kind of different issues in life that people often overlook. That's another reason why I like this series: it taught me many lessons in life. This isn't just a story about love, it's a lesson about meeting and separation, holding onto something and letting go, getting hurt and healing wounds, ignorance and understanding. I was hesitant about watching it at first since I thought this was centered around an affair, but thank God it's not, and I can't be more glad that I watched this. People might find flaws in this series, but for me, it's perfect.
Finally finished watching this, and I enjoy it, although I won't rewatch it. Unfortunately, I have low tolerance for cringeworthy scene, and this series has a lot of it. I don't know how many times I silently yelled for them to stop lol. However, I really love how the plot progressed and all the characters.
The plot is so lighthearted and well-written, although I think the director either didn't understand the process of making a song or just didn't care, but it's okay. I love how patient Tinn is and the way he always respect Gun's boundary. I love how Gun is silly and stupid yet never an idiot, and how he's not stubborn unlike many other characters in enemies-turn-lovers trope. The way he slowly warmed up to Tinn and noticed his feelings while accepting his own is so satisfying. I love how supporting Tiw is for Tinn. And while I love Gun's mother, Tinn's parents really won me over. Tinn's mother is strict and firm indeed, yet she's reasonable and isn't hard-headed. While it seems like she's the head of the family, but she's willing to follow whenever her husband steps in to guide her. Tinn's father is an amazing emotional supporter for his mother. He pays attention to her, quickly notice whenever she feels down and always does his best to cheer her up. I guess I know where Tinn gets his nature from. He also lets her make decisions for the family, and when he has other opinion about the decision, he coaxes her gently instead of telling her what to do. I really love the dynamics between this middle-aged couple, they're even cuter than the main couple for me lol.
Now this is a praiseworthy series, a typical high school romantic comedy that's not typical at all. Can't wait for GeminiFourth's next project, their acting and chemistry is way better than some of older BL couples in GMM. I hope they'll get a good script again.
Finally, this series ends. It's not necessarily the worse BL I've watched, at least it's bearable enough and make me curious enough to watch it until the last episode. I'm actually the kind that drop a series easily as soon as I find a character, especially the main, annoying, or when it's no longer able to arouse my curiosity and excitement anymore. I even dropped MOD and Between Us by the last episode lol. I found Nueng still bearable in my standard, and Chopper's storyline kept my curiosity going, so I was able to finish this. To be honest, I actually liked the first few episodes, the build-up was great and they managed to keep the tension, so they were engaging. But after Nueng's mother was shot and they left for the island, the tension disappeared in vain and everything went downhill for me. It's like jumping from, let's say, Tokyo Tower, but instead of landing on the ground, you landed on the merry-go-round at Disneyland. From then on, they kept on doing that, if not even worse. Whenever they started to build up a tension, they crushed it before it could take form, and my interest slowly fade away with each week passing by in waiting. Maybe I would've felt better about this series if I binge-watched this instead, idk.
Also, let me be blunt, Phuwin should've stayed in romcom. He did good in playful and romantic scenes, but he ruined almost every emotional scenes, especially ones when he was crying. Sorry to say, but his acting feels overly exaggerated, and it's such a turn-off for me. Pond actually isn't bad in terms of expression, but I think he should work on his speech, how to play with his voice. No matter what emotion his character is in, his voice and intonation are always the same. In this part, Phuwin is better.
And at last, Perth. I can't write a comment about this series without mentioning him or his character, and I'll never get tired singing praises for his acting in this series. After all, his character is the one that kept what little interest I have for this series. When I say his character, I mean it. When I watch something, I focused mainly on characters and their story, not the actors or even the plot. And Chopper is for me a way more interesting and layered character than the leads. The fact that Perth played as him and portrayed his emotions perfectly is a plus, and I'm grateful at him for that. His scenes with Nat always gave me chills, especially in the last three episodes. The way he scrambled to his father after he was shot broke my heart. He and Nat are such a good actor. The only thing I regret about Chopper is the development of his relationship with Ben, it feels so sudden. Maybe it's because they didn't show Ben enough, idk. Maybe I'll make a fanfiction about them since I'm dissatisfied, maybe not. I'm still happy for their scene at the last episode though.
