Ikr, I've been saying from the start that this drama always takes cliches from classic romcom kdrama and twists them so they end up atypical. That's why I love this drama so much, it turns the annoying cliches enjoyable.

I don't watch many romcom but I think Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bokjoo's ML is on that level, although he's a bit of a jokester lol

I think it's because of his personality. Despite his stubborness, he's the kind of person who can accept when being told he's wrong and willing to fix it, not just by Sarang but others too. That scene with the cop for example. Someone like that can grow quickly as long as there's someone to teach him what's right and wrong, which he never had until Sarang came along, that's why he was kinda immature before. It also helps that he's not a snob who thinks that he's above others although maybe a bit narcissist.

Try to imagine if someone dear to you is embroiled in bad rumor, which turns into their image known by people even though it's completely wrong. How would you feel? If you don't feel anything, then I have to wonder if you're really human.

I think they're mostly from Arabians who got offended by the prince's portrayal. It's understandable though. Although I enjoyed his interactions with Gu Won, I knew from the start that it would be a problem.

This drama is a treat for people who just want to enjoy and be entertained without using their brain and heart too much. That's the direction they want, and they succeeded at it. Bring some complexity you want, and it'll be a miss.

In ep 8 alone there are the instant noodles, mineral water, the sauna place, that one face product the three promoted there, and Sarang's lipstick. Those are only what I remember though, I might miss some. I think the ring is sponsored too but I'm not sure.

I think there might be others, but for now I only remember Love Playlist. It's a webdrama, and it has many couples, but one of them is what you're looking for. I'll come back later when I remember another.

True, him getting the macarons he threw away without a fuss after being told off by the police officer is funny and endearing at the same time lol. Boy just want to be dramatic sad boy but the world won't let him 🤣🤣 I also like how despite being prideful he never thinks that he's above everyone else. The fact that he lets his secretary treat him so friendly says a lot.

I'm a woman though 😅 there are three kind of FL I can't stand, one who often makes a fool of herself, one who always cries and always in need for help, and one who overthinks uselessly. For ML, aside from the snobbish one, I don't like the bad guy type, which could be seen in a lot of old kdramas along with kind and gentle second lead. I just don't get them, and it's important for me to be able to sympathize with the characters in order to keep watching. If I find one of them annoying, I'd stop right away.

This was marketed as lighthearted classic romcom and many people said the same so I hesitated to watch it, but I watched it anyway and I like it. I can't stomach romcom well, but this one has enough tension for me to take the story seriously. It does have one element that I dislike from romcom kdrama, which is FL embarrassing herself for no reason, but it's not overplayed so I don't mind it. I like that Gu Won isn't the typical chaebol's son in kdramas. He's cold and a bit arrogant, but he actually cares for people and he's neither vain, stuck-up, nor spoiled. You know how it usually goes when FL makes a mistake or angered the chaebol ML in kdramas, but it's different with this drama. Gu Won didn't make much fuss or overly hate Sarang even after her mistakes. Although so far I haven't found any endearing qualities from Sarang, at least she's not annoying, and I hope she won't end up so. Let's just pray it won't disappoint later.

This has everything I always look for in a drama. Slice-of-life genre, comedic yet serious at the same time, character-focused storyline, and realistic drama, nothing too dramatic. I love that their lives and their friendship is the focus of the story, and their love story is just a tool for their character development. But how can Jeongwon's mom and the chairman, who are supposedly friends until the end, be sweeter than the couples? And Ikjun is right, Woojoo is way better than all of them. Just look at him having the longest relationship throughout two seasons of this series lol.

Gonna miss the trio so bad, I hope Hongjoo and Mooyoung will appear on s3 😭😭 or just use the 1938 Lee Yeon instead of the modern time one, that's okay too.

Tbh when I first heard ABH is going to play as Seoha, I thought he would suit Doyoon's role more.

I don't think he was overconfident, he was just using himself as a bait because it was the quickest way to know what his enemies were capable of. Like he said, he didn't have much time because although he seemed relaxed, he was still very worried about Lee Rang.

The restaurant owner was the mother of the brain dead EMS agent Woojin operated on in S2. I guess she felt grateful to Woojin, and they also became close since he often frequented her restaurant, so she treated him like her own child. I don't think Prof. Cha is meant to be a villain from the start, he's just a gray character which later supposed to turn to be Doldam's supporter. The villain is Assemblyman Ko.

Somehow I don't think Lee Yeon will be able to go back to the future by the end of s2, and his adventure in the past will continue in s3 🤔
