The 13th ep is some kind of extra, so I'll consider this finished. I think all the actors did great despite the crappy script, but there's nothing they can do about it. I think TinCan's chemistry is pretty okay, and Ae+Pond is superb. This series is, sadly, a contrast to its prequel in how it treated its character. In LBC1, every character is alive and shining, even the ones with small role like Good, Type, Champ, even Boe and Ping. They're all so memorable despite having little to no significance to the plot. But in LBC2, even the ones with supposedly big roles are pushed into the corner, it feels like their existence is without purpose, they're just there to fill the story. And I know plot hole is almost unavoidable in fictional story, but for real though, where does Ae's big motorbike go? Is it just like Perth said, that the motorbike is secondhand and he paid in monthly credit? So what, is Ae unable to pay it off so it's taken back? I know it's ridiculous, but for me it's the biggest mystery from everything I've watched and read in my life at the moment lol. Well, I hope every actors in this series can get a script where they can shine in the future, because they truly did well, especially Mark. His talent is really wasted here.
Oh that's interesting... have you not watched I told sunset about you yet?I'm not saying I don't like this one…
Oh right, it slipped my mind since it's not airing for free on international streaming platform and too pricey to be bought so I haven't watched that yet :D but from what I heard, yeah, it's indeed good. Maybe I'll watch it later after it ends.
I was devastated when I knew Pure won't end up with Waan, but now, I'm head over heels with FolkPure, they're just so sweet >< Fiat though, I've never seen anyone as good at acting flirty as him, respect! Unfortunately, I don't really feel for the main couple lately, although I like them in the beginning lol. Well, maybe I'll like them again next ep because the preview seems promising. Gotta say this is still the best Thai BL airing at the moment despite all it flaws though, at least for me :)
I guess I'm in the minority... I love the Tin/Can chemistry here.
They hasn't give the title yet, there is no information whether it's gonna be a series or just a collection of short stories either. All we get is the teaser Wabi Sabi dropped on yt yesterday along with the list of cast, which is so jaw dropping lol.
I know people with think I’m crazy, but I actually enjoy this more than the first season. For those complaining…
That is because AePete's story is supposed to continue in s2, but they just scrapped it all because Saint can't play there. Trump is supposed to comeback and kidnap Pete, beating him up and almost raping him if not for Ae coming at the right time, which leads to Pete's dad breaking them up using the fact that Ae just an inch away from beating Trump to death. Chompoo is supposed to be their greatest supporter after Ae comes out to her and rejects her flat since he doesn't want Pete to keep feeling jealous. She would pretend to be Ae's girlfriend, guarding up Pete's place beside him so no one tries to take it. And she would end up having a girlfriend lol.
Tbh I think the only actors who has expressions throughout the series is Kao, Khim, and dr. Petch (despite their characters of course, but not Kao, he's lovable all the way <3). Even Gui who the main trait is supposed to be his smile, is just expressionless, even Solo smiled way more often than him lol. And Solo, beside his cute smile around Gui, I can't truly feel his other emotions when he's supposed to be cold and filled with anger for his dad and Jay. I started to think that Petch would be better as Solo and vice versa if not for their height lol. And I don't know, maybe because I love the novels so much, those additional plot for SoloGui kinda ruined Gui's character for me. In the novel, he's supposed to be that mature, decisive person. But in the series it looks like he just went with the flow with Solo, and let himself being dragged around by Kay. For me, almost every episode is difficult to watch. I tried to bear with it because I truly love the novel and its character, but continuing just makes my disappointment grows deeper so I'll just stop with the latest ep which I can't even finish. So this is a goodbye, I guess.
That's one of my pet peeves, even from Season 1. Pond is SUCH a good friend to Ae -- he was a cheerleader for…
Eh, I think it just showed that they're closer friends more than with anybody else. For some people, including me, a best friend is someone we're comfortable to be as shitty as possible without any malice, yet also someone we care so much about. For Ae, despite him cursing and hitting Pond all the times, he also cared for him. Though complaining, he always woke Pond up in the morning, lending him notes, and put up his obsession with porn lol. He could always change roommate, but he chose to room with him anyway knowing how he was since high school, and he always ended up letting Pond have his way. And Pond also never took his cursing and hitting seriously, as he was also the one who always tried to provoke him intentionally, like messing up with his drink for example. Well, maybe I can understand because that's how it is with me and my friends, and I also understand that it might come off as rude for the others. But tbh, when you're really close friends, that rudeness comes both ways although maybe in different forms XD
After this I swear I'll never ever read a novel that's going to be adapted before the series airs. I really have a hard time watching this without complaining TT
Really loving this so far! Many complained about the pacing saying it's too slow but for me, it's perfect! Just watched ep 4, and I really love the chemistry between JJ and Fiat there, they're so cute. I'm really excited to see how their relationship will develop, especially after it's been revealed that Pure has HIV. Seeing the preview, it seemed like Waan would accompany and support him through that and I think it would be so sweet ><
On the other hand, the part where Itt's mother passed away feels unimpactful, when it's supposed to be one of their turning point. And while Win's acting has been great since beginning, he's so flat in that part. He didn't even look surprised or sad when he knew about the passing. Who knows, maybe the painkiller also numbed his face muscle lol.
Um so... is there any information on SaiZon's special? I don't think it's included in the boxset, or is it? I just wish the plan won't just vanish into thin air.
