I can't agree with the people who think YSH has a bad taste when choosing dramas. I think I've watched every single one of his dramas (where he's the main at least) except for Operation Proposal and all of them are so different, his characters are always well-written and are immensely likeable men. He's one of my favorite actors not only because he's handsome, but because he's a great actor with amazing works.

Memorist is a wonderful crime drama with such a perfectly written script. 6 episodes full of intensity, thriller, passion and emotion. Each case they've uncovered has led to a much more complicated, twisted and darker case. On top of all, everything feels real. Like you said, one almost forgets he has powers because of how good this drama is. I hope more people get to appreciate it.

You just described everything I feel and think about this drama. It's just so amazing in terms of story, acting, cast, chemistry... I knew Yoo Seung Ho wouldn't disappoint.

This drama is absolutely amazing!!! I've loved every single episode so much, the story evolves so well, the more they uncover a murder, the more interesting and intense it gets. The characters are all so good, cast was done perfectly well, the chemistry between the leads is no joke! I understand people wouldn't like if they added romance in the plot but tbh, it's bound to happen. Not only because the drama has a romance tag (I suppose it's not going to be main plot anyway), but also because of the way the characters' lives are getting entangled, the way they're starting to care for each other, etc. It's just bound to happen and I trust the writers that they will do a good job and won't ruin it. Yoo Seung Ho is an amazing actor anyway and he has always chosen amazing jobs.

Lee Se Young is an amazing actress as well. It's my first time seeing her in an important role and I'm surprised both by her acting, beauty and her character too. Totally loving this drama.

Same, I've never been this confused before with a pilot ep. I understand that the director apparently wanted to sell a confusing start but imo it was way too confusing and many people are dropping it or putting it on hold to wait for reviews and rating once it develops more. I don't think starting it this confusing was a good play lol.

First 2 episodes were a pain to watch. I literally forced myself through finishing both of them and paused them countless times. I even skipped some long scenes with no dialogue on ep 2. I love When The Weather Is Fine and I don't think these two can be comparable. The first one is slow, but it's filled with side stories and small details that make it very entertaining. APOYM is incredibly slow and confusing. I didn't understand most of Ep 1, to begin with. I will keep watching anyway because I love the main leads and I feel like it will develop into a beautiful story. Hope I'm not mistaken.

I love this drama so much. It's so sweet and warm, love the acting and chemistry of the leads, the small side stories, all the caring supportive characters, the soundtrack and background music, scenarios... Everything is really beautiful. Truly enjoying it. Also, I love the goodnight blog postings. They're incredibly cute and give us a nice insight about Eun Seob's personality. I love all this drama so much.

I loved this drama so much and I don't agree that it lacks anything, but I had the exact same feeling with 'I Hear Your Voice'. I know the drama is good and very thrilling until the end, but for some reason, it took me 4 attempts to watch it. First time I got to Ep 11. Second time Ep 10. Third time I got to Ep 17 and even though I was only one episode away from finishing it, I still didn't want to. Fourth time I only watched Ep 18. I know that drama is good, but I was just not into it. So even though I loved 'While You Were Sleeping', I totally understand your sentiment.

Sun Oh is aware of the fact that even though Jo Jo doesn't ring his alarm, she likes him. He said it on Ep 7, the graduation day. He knew that for some reason her alarm wasn't going off, but he knew she still liked him. He was ghosted and dumped for no reason at all, he would obviously need to find someone new, otherwise he'd be miserable. Also, his life in general is ~easier~ than Hye Young's, so it's normal that HY didn't try to get anyone else in the last 4 years because of the way he lives his life, besides him being crushed of course. Sun Oh was heartbroken, and even if he found someone new, his feelings remain the same.

As someone who read the webtoon, can you tell me if they developed JJ-SO relationship as much in the webtoon as they did in the drama? As in, were they all lovely and absolutely over each other in the webtoon too, or were those parts given more attention in the drama?

I couldn't agree more with anyone!! You're 100% right about everything here. I'm on Sun Oh's side and Hye Young definitely deserves someone who would reciprocate his feelings completely.

I thought I was the only #TeamSunOh here! Hye Young is a nice boy but Sun Oh is the right guy. It was weird how he started to like her suddenly but he has never once done anything wrong to her and always considered Hye Young's feelings too. I hope they end up together, but the webtoon apparently says otherwise :(

This drama is so beautiful. I get such good feelings when I watch it, I even feel at ease. It makes me calm, I love the soundtrack too because it fits so well the vibes it gives.

Oh Yeon Woo was such a lovely character. I don't know if he'll keep appearing in the drama (don't see why if she already rejected him) but my heart ached when the school scenes showed him caring for her in the shadows. That was sweet as hell. Also, he's my favorite type of problematic boy with abusive parents that starts caring for The Girl. If Eun Seob wasn't the purest man, I'd have cheered for Yeon Woo. But obviously, Eun Seob is the winner here.

I watched this season when it was airing and I remember that I loved it a lot and now I want to watch season 2 but I don't remember much of the plot of s1. I don't have that much time to rewatch a drama (I'd rather spend that time watching things off my endless watchlist or a new drama), does anyone know where I can read a detailed review/plot summary to catch up on everything?
I feel like I'll end up rewatching it anyways...

Just a few thoughts about the latest episodes: • Ep 12 has been the best so far, and personally I think ep 9 was amazing too. Geun-soo outing Hyun-yi was horrible, I never thought he would do something like that but as suspected from this ep's preview, he stooped the lowest possible. It'll be so nice to see Yi-seo making him realize that all the shitty things he's doing to get Jangga and her will never work, at least not to get her. The slap in ep 13's preview will be so satisfying to see, Yi-seo casually slapping yet another person in this wonderful drama. • Soo-ah again is being a selfish bitch. I've gotta confess I was starting to accept her but wtf was that "then what about me? Do you know how hard it was to bring this pot to you?" Like are you freaking kidding me? That was the most selfish thing she has said so far, and she's been nothing but absolutely selfish throughout the entire drama. • I will love to see Hyun-yi slay that first place again as deserved. • I don't wanna see Chairman Jang die before Sae-royi gets his revenge, I really hope it doesn't happen. • I loved the phone call where Yi-seo casually told Sae-royi that she loves him and wished him a good night. It may be kind of delusional of her, but it's also a tactic to get him to fall for her, which I already see it happening (better than I planned it). I love Park Seo-joon's taken aback faces. • Lastly, I hope the time jump isn't that much and I also wish they won't rush things just because only 4 eps are left. I doubt they will add more eps, but 2 more wouldn't be bad for anyone.

Yes, I would totally love that! I'm sad that we'll probably see Geun-soo losing himself in order to get Yi-seo, which won't even happen at all. I'm thrilled for the next episodes.

Oh, by revealing her identity you mean that she's trans? That could be quite strong. Oh, and thinking about it, what if Geun-soo's hidden card is to out her to the public? That's the only way I can see that her identity will be revealed. That's shady but I bet that's what will happen. That's a good observation from you!

And yes, I'm also sure Yi-seo will come back more determined and definitely stronger. If they decide to push for Sae-royi and Yi-seo's romance, it will probably be something like Yi-seo will stop chasing for Sae-royi's love and that's when he'll realize that he sees her as a woman, etc. Sounds a bit forced and it'll all depend on how they handle the story but it does sound like something that could happen in a k-drama, lol.

Anyways, I'm glad we don't need to wait the entire week to see what will happen.
