I think this may have made it to 2nd place in my Worst Drama Finales of All Time. Seriously WTF was that finale??? Or even the second last episode??? It was going so well. How do you mess up the ending that badly?
I understand what you mean about her acting. I suppose it could have been a case of her getting casted into very…
I hate those kinds of kisses! I understand why they do it more in the "highschool" dramas, but in an adult drama, with adult characters is crazy! Why?!?
You could argue though that, as she is a demon, she may not have kissed anyone before. I don't know what they're doing down in hell, but maybe they're not doing that lol.
When you said you stopped Pinocchio because of her acting... I honestly don't know what to say. Because that is…
There's no need to be rude. Everyone has different standards, and different things they enjoy. Not everyone is going to like the same things you like. That is just how life works. OP is not being nasty or rude, or saying that PSH needs to retire and never be seen on TV or in movies ever again. If you asked me what the worst KDrama of all time is, I'll have an immediate answer locked and loaded. But I know other people loved that drama. Obviously, I haven't seen every single drama in existence, that would be impossible, but I'm rating based on what I've experienced and what I know. Just like everyone else. I don't fully agree with OP but you don't see me calling them a tasteless idiot, because there is absolutely no need to be combative in regards to this.
This wouldn't be such a problem if people could see real pictures of posters and know their age and education.
I understand your sentiment. People feel very brave when they can hide behind a keyboard. However, at the very least, when it comes to knowing people's ages, I don't think people knowing when someone is a minor is a very good idea.
I used to hate PSH as an actress because of how bad her acting has always been (just as her kissing scenes) and…
I understand what you mean about her acting. I suppose it could have been a case of her getting casted into very similar roles, so she didn't have the chance to flex her acting muscles or grow as an actor. I haven't watched Memories of the Alhambra or really any of her latest dramas/movies, the last was Sisyphus. I did enjoy her acting in that. The story was a bit crazy at times --obviously not her fault lol -- but I enjoyed her in it.
I do feel like there was meant to be more to the story of why the original Kang Bit Na ended up in the hell for murderers, and what exactly happened to her. Are we supposed to come to the conclusion (now that we know) that it's because she saw the video tape of Seon Ho's mother and she didn't report it, therefore she's an accomplice? I don't know if I missed something but it really does feel like she was forgotten. It seemed like they were building up to something and it just fizzled out.
Despite that one complaint, I did really enjoy this drama!
sometimes I wonder how much of these donations from companies and actors are done in order to have a tax reduction…
I somewhat agree. Any goodwill is tainted. But on the other hand you could look at it so that, maybe more people might buy it now that they know the profits are going to charity. And the charity will get the money, whether the act was an altruistic one or not.
Yes! That wave of energy might be the reason she was able to put the flame of the lantern out.
Good point... But was it just a magic barrier or was it actually like the door to where the relics are kept? I can't remember if anything specific was said.
She's actually a very bland character though ( "mary Sue")... that obviously drew inspirations from cool traits…
I wouldn't say that Bai Qian is without flaws, you might just have to look deep down, like way down deep. I think that the reason why I like her character is largely because her personality is rare in dramas nowadays. Like you said about her character being a man in the original story, her personality and traits are more common in male characters. (Sidenote: that's why I really enjoyed Search: WWW, the FLs in that drama were not your typical.) Most female characters, especially FLs tend to be bubbly and a little bit of an air-head, they are overly emotional and have a short fuse, etc. It's nice to see something different. I realise Bai Qian is not perfect, in the way that she might be too perfect, it would be nice if she had more flaws as it would make her a more interesting and relatable character, like you said. But personally I don't mind that she's not relatable, I'm not trying to be like her, or see myself in her, I'm just trying to enjoy a drama and the characters in it. All I can say is that people like what they like
Not fantasy but the Story of Ming Lan and Yanxi Palace both have badass female leads.
Thank you! I'll be sure to start them, once I clean out some of the dramas I'm currently watching of course. I'll also have to decide on which one to start with.

I think they both might be in my watchlist. I don't mind non-fantasy dramas. But there is one thing about them that I'm wary of, whether or not they have a happy ending. I spend hours rooting for the main couple only to have my heart ripped out, and I'm left a sobbing mess on the floor. So I don't like going in blind lol
Since Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms I haven't found a heroine I've loved as much as Bai Qian. I like that she's level-headed, confident, she seems cold but she's not, and she's capable of defending herself. She's a rare heroine in lighter romance and fantasy romance dramas, especially nowadays. If anyone has any drama recommendations with similar heroines, feel free to reply.
I find Na-Hee's mother to be worse than Gyu-Jin's to be honest. The way she's treating Na-Hee is horrible. She's selfishly making her daughter's divorce all about herself. I know that she probably feels hurt and betrayed that she kept the divorce a secret from her, but also it's mostly because she enjoyed bragging about having a doctor SIL and showing off to the people in the market. You can tell, because of how she acted about all the attention that she received when they appeared on that TV show.
Her daughter got divorced. How does she think Na-Hee feels? With the way her mother is acting it's no wonder she felt the need to keep it a secret. Like, for god's sake have some self-awareness, woman. Her constant sulking and pettiness is driving me nuts. Maybe I'll feel differently later on, but at the moment I'm sick of it.

Edit: I suppose I should add the scene, so people know what I'm actually talking about.

Maybe I need to do a rewatch 🤔
