"She's always having an attitude towards ML 90% of the time even when the ML didn't do anything." i havent seen…
You watched the same drama I did. I loathe the fact that when psychological or psychiatric terms go mainstream they take on all manners of meaning, few of them accurate. Gaslighting, psychopathy, have been the usual suspects. Enter Stockholm Syndrome. If you want to learn about Stockholm Syndrome look up Patti Hearst, the most well-known person to be diagnosed wth the condition. Or the original bank robbery where the bank employees sided with the robbers. It's a coping mechanism used to deal with being held hostage. Thus it must take place while in captivity. Our girl is plotting to escape every second she is captured. So the term does not apply. I should mention the change in behaviour is drastic. Patty Hearst went from being a typical rich socialite to being photographed holding an assault rifle in a bank robbery. She was given the choice of beling released or joining the SLA. She chose not to go home...
I watched 11 eps of this drama and I intentionally want to comment now - as for these episodes - I thoroughly…
I just finished episode 11 as well, and whole heartedly agree with you. Far too little of substance has occurred to move the plot along. And I don’t foresee that changing. So many Chinese dramas could be pared down to fewer episodes. The Japanese can tell a satisfying story in 4-6episodes and are my doramas of choice. Normally engaging leads can convince me to finish a plodding drama but not in this case. It has nothing to do with this particular actor per se I am not drawn to prickly pear characters. I hope this picks up speed and becomes more entertaining, but with half a dozen other choices, I have to let it go.
Just got to the ending and haven’t had time to sort it out in my mind just yet. I would rather someone help me out with the FL’s story and her motivation to tell him what she did. At this point it makes little sense that it was all about revenge!! 😳
SPY want a man this badly she settles for a man who has to have his way smh..
You give Hye-Strung the green flag but not SPY who is also available and gong after what she wants. Why the double standard? I think plenty of women who would “settle” for him. The very reason he is drawn to her is because she does stand up to him and knows the fine art of letting a man think he is getting his way. 😉The ring has historically been the man’s choice and the Koreans are traditional people. Mind you the size of the BFR is rather impractical. Hope she does not sleep on her left side!
Both serve as mechanisms to advance the plot. This is fiction after all.
Hye-Strung doesn’t need to change?! Who knew? Well, SW wants what she lost back. And taking over HS’s body will do the trick. Prepare for a miracle. “Knocked up cheater” is not an oxymoron.
I won't ever be friends with someone who sleeps with my other half whilst he was still married. Forgive yes, and…
All true. But we must remember this is fiction. So for a plot to be successful, certain devices must be employed. The rapprochement of ex- wife and mistress is key to making their decision to join forces to determine if Dong Mi really could have killed her husband all too necessary.
