My theory on the bizarre ending of 2: Forgive me I remember no names! We saw the professor’s partner break down, She was unhinged by the time she got to his wife’s. Completely distraught the wife took her into the house so she could get some rest. And maybe a sleeping pill. And zzzzzzzz. He said he would marry her but due to career constraints could she wait a year. She could not. As his career ramped up he wound up spending less time with her which is ultimately what put the nail in the coffin. Oh and her being a cheat and a gold digger didn't help.

It was the fact that she was left too often on her own. And she would see him partying up on tv and saying that he was single. She got fed up. Do you know he got her a dog so she would not be lonely?! I can not think of anything sweeter. She was in television. She knew what she had signed up for. She was not mature enough to handle what came her way. He stopped seeing her because he did not want her to suffer anymore because of the demands of his sudden fame. He did not handle the parting well. Mistakes were made on both sides,, only hers will result in jail as he intends to sue her for defamation, as he rightly should. She comes off as a gold digger trying to rope in a naive young man. Fortunately, he dodged the bullet! But how will he trust again?

If you have then you are waiting for season three. She is out of luck with the brothers because each has his eye on someone else!
