I have figured out who the killer is but I refuse to hide it under spoiler alert. Mysteries do warrant open discussion. It’s an integral part of watching any who-dun-it. If you don’t wish to know the speculations of others, simply do not read the comments before watching the next scene.
The father was working on a project involving intelligent children. The bruises on her arm look like she was strapped down to a bed. Whatever experiments were taking place, the project was operational for some time. In the first scene, a seemingly deranged man tries to kill a doctor. No doubt he is a father of a child the doctor experimented with. This was a flashback from 1993. What you have here is three fathers who treat their children so differently. The doctor is immorally using his own daughter in his experiments. One who will stop at nothing to avenge his child. And one who will do anything for his ailing daughter. Her pain is his pain. The security expert who pulled the cameras is likely the killer. He went from working at the hospital to taking care of the doctor’s home. Sounds like he wanted that proximity. The assertion that the cameras were removed because the doctor wished to change companies does not wash. They are usually pulled to maintain privacy or hide a crime in process. I suspect the security guy is the father who tried to kill the first doctor and failed. Now he wanted a second shot with the current doctor. What should be noted is that when he realized he had accidentally hurt the young girl, he broke down and cried. What remains a mystery is who paid the hospital bill and for the operation? Why did the estranged wife resurface at this point? Why did she suggest this particular girl to kidnap? Judging from the outtakes a role reversal is about to take place. The kidnapped will take the reins for the hapless kidnapper with the big heart. I foresee a happy ending!
Don’t usually gravitate to wuxia, but this looks like a fun romp! 😄 Cuteness overload, a standard issue. First impression of Chu Kong: If lips could kill! 😉 Pleased to see my favourite emperor. Let’s face it, not too many of them can be considered sexy! Not pleased with the harming of animals, even when they are cartoonish. The intent remains shameful. 🥲 Off to make 🍿 to munch on and pitch at the tv screen! .
Tushan Hou -ho or no? 🤔 Miss Fengfen looked rather cosy with Jing’s brother. So when she whispered in his ear, I thought she was announcing to him of HIS impending fatherhood! And Jing seemed to have had no memory of the act… All too fishy!
I'm a bit confused about Ho Woo's motivation in episode 6 as to why he needed to prevent the Sanga Group from…
He sees the Taeil vultures gathering over Sanga and he does not wish to see a repeat of what happened to Haebit. He has more integrity than the rest. At least for now! 😊
As much as I don`t wish to support anything GJ is in, it`s not fair to Dilraba et al. Since the comedy / humour tag is routinely left out, I have to ask if there are any laughs in this drama...
This drama is unique in that it used an unusual literary device. You will remember the storyteller ended the main lead`s life story in a manner his audience did not care for. So he took poetic license and asked them if they preferred a different ending. They enthusiastically said yes, and that is why the story flips halfway. Although I missed the goofy emperor, I was hooked on part two.
