Friday can't come soon enough so I can continue watching because apparently WeTv only has the first episode for free and it's all VIP after that. But that gave me the opportunity to rewatch episode 1 and and the beginning story is much clearer now .
ok, i haven't watched this yet and before i do that i wanted to see how it is so far but instead of seeing people…
I like to think that the people who bash another person looks and go as far as calling her ugly are immature youngsters who will regret their behavior later on in life. But who am I kidding, some of them are adults and will never change. They are just mean human beings, period.
Most people should have been taught or at least heard the phrase that if you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all.
Most costume drama like to start off by telling the viewers the realms, the clan names, who's who, e.t.c real fast and in succession to get it out of the way. If you don't speak Chinese and have to read the translation then it's impossible to keep up with.
So far so good with clear background story and not merely relying on cgi and fighting scenes to reel you in.
I don't like how in episode 18 we were told that the elite squad Meng Jinzhu and Qian Amao died without given them appropriate final scenes. I know they were minor characters but Qian Amao did give XCS hard felt advice.
Yes, I love that part on how she blatantly pointed out that HongLing was such a person, holding two men in her…
Yes, she should have let her boyfriend know what was going on but it's understandable that she went to YGH first for the surgery arraignment since he already had the connection and this was an emergency. But after that she should contact her boyfriend which she didn't . I'm not a fan of her character either but they depicted her character realistically. Think of this time period when jobs were scared and your family is poor with no male breadwinner, it was a tough call. It's always easy for outsiders to criticize someone else actions until we are in their shoes. Again. I think the writers did a good job. Besides, you need a female villain to juice up the plot..lol
