The final episode is one of the weaker episodes in my opinion mainly because I don't see the purpose of introducing an epidemic the last minute and rushed through it? It felt out of sync with the flow of the drama. Still, this is one of the best dramas I'd watched.

Are you certain that's always the case? I believe that most of the viewers who criticized female leads are also females. And it's human nature, especially females, to scrutiny your own sex more than the opposite sex.

I don't think I have watched a Chinese drama where the female lead wasn't been criticized by some viewers one way or another. The most popular adjective was 'annoying'
But this drama takes the cake, the female lead wasn't just been criticized for her character but the actress herself was verbally abused. For me, except for a few opening minutes where the director did a poor job of making her looked unflattering, Ren Min's acting really growths on you.

I doubt it too that Netflix USA will drop all episodes since the drama is still airing in China. Yes, I hope we'll at least get all the episodes available to Tencent VIP members; otherwise, having it on Netflix doesn't help.

Episode 34 is so good. The awkward reunion between XCS, YGH and CHJ was well acted and added so much depth to the story. The actor playing CHJ did a good job with his character, maybe because of the permanent scowl on his face...lol. Also, Xiao Zhan is so handsome here and his looks in this episode make me think that he'll be very suitable playing a role in a spy drama.
