This movie is related to the movie Fall in love at First Kiss starring Daren Wang right? Definitely not for me then lol 😂 I dropped that movie midway and haven't watched the Original Itzanura no Kiss.
Also I did watch a movie I think it had Nickhun can't remember it's name but it was on Siblings that movie was kinda okay.
Idk maybe if get guided by veteran Thai Drama Watchers properly I may find a drama that's good and is closer to my confort Zone of Kdramas cuz literally I can't even watch J-dramas (Please don't hate me! I like Animes and J-movies) and like only a few C-dramas especially the ones made/released after/around Covid-19 otherwise I dropped the first 50 C-dramas that I watched before 2019-20 cuz they were so long with nothing special about them.
P.S. if I remember it right YYJ operated a hotel or lodge called Nakwon Inn in Never Twice too. I don't exactly remember the name and on MDL it says Paradise Inn but it's Korean name was Nakwon I think. Wondering if these two are related or something.
guys do you have any drama recommendations similar to this?
I think the dramas in the recommendations section of this drama are the most similar dramas to this one. If you have watched all the ones mentioned there then you can give a try to some Slice-of-life Dramas or the ones which are realistic and emotionally heavy with slow burn stories like Misaeng, Prison Playbook, Be Melodramatic (Starring Son Seok-koo aka Mr. Gu).
Also there's a Drama called Your House Helper which although isn't a critical appreciated one like this neither is too slow but has somewhat similar vibes. I've never seen it being mentioned but if you have time and looking for something which showcases relatable aspects of life and has a rather mysterious story about the ML's past then you can try that. It has Bona from 2521.
If Mr. Gu is an athlete I can’t really think of a situation that would cause him to move away and hide. He’s…
He could be an athlete I mean what if he got involved in some scandal like doing something which could paint you as a traitor or getting involved in some crime? But anyway like you said we will see what uncovers this Sat-Sun.
I just binge-watched all the 6 Episodes and I love this drama beyond the level of what I expected. And definitely the Writer has done a commendable job again after My Mister. Although this one isn't as gloomy or heavier when compared too My Mister but I didn't realise that I spent more than 6 hours watching the episodes. It was like looking at my own life or someone who's close to me.
The characters are totally relatable especially Mi-jeong cuz I am her age bracket and struggle like her everywhere with being an almost outcast everywhere cuz I am also an introvert maybe not to the extent of her Coworker/Group Mate (the short guy with glasses) although that's how I look lolz. I am quite short and wear glasses though am not that old. One thing that totally left me surprised was how Mr. Gu didn't have dialogues except a few in the first 2 Eps yet I could feel what was going on inside him.
Hence, I'm curious about the messages that Mr. Gu received and about his past and what the future holds for him, Mi-jeong and her siblings but I'll be okay even if Gu and Mi-jeong don't end up together in the end. Idk why but I feel that Mr. Gu will end up helping the family get close and to some extent fulfill their dreams and be happy just like Mi-jeong hoped for.
Definitely not for me then lol 😂
