I'm definitely gonna wait till June 9th to start watching this. Not gonna fall in trap again and neither do I have the patience to wait every week for new episodes.

Who's gonna watch it anyway now. First season already tanked (TV Ratings wise) and now with cast change I don't think it'll get popularity. They should just drop the idea/plans of season 2 now. It's been already so late.

Chaebaal this time don't end up dead or lose the heroine in the end (if there's even a slight romantic arc with the FL at all)

Okay so I wasn't a fan of hers and thought that she's a bit overrated but I liked her in Soundtrack #1.
And now I wanna see Kproject since it has one of my Fav Actor PSJ.

On a side note, I wonder who'd be the first to work with Complete Wooga Gang So-hee or Kim Da-mi... Cuz Da-mi just needs to work with Park Hyung-sik now.

True that!! Like they were watching A Werewolf Boy and he was shown crying and it suddenly reminded me of Him and Park Bo-young. I remember he said in one of an interview that he really fell in love with Bo-young while Filming SWDBS and I thought that maybe that Scene in the drama took dig at that crush of his.

This was a warm beautiful and cute drama! Although the plot isn't itself nothing new or stands out but it's good to have some light-hearted short series like these which you can simply watch on a tiring day after work or when you're feeling low.

Hyung-sik and So-hee really had a good chemistry and I seriously would love to see them together again in a proper drama with 12 or 16 Eps.
Also the OST was quite soothing too.
Ahhh also I'd love to see more friends-to-lovers dramas too.

I'm super excited for this cuz I always wanted to see Junho in a Romcom and here with YoonA is like a cherry on top. Besides also wanted K-industry to give us more Rom-coms this year after BP cuz I'm done with all the Zombies or Crime/Thriller/Dark dramas airing for past 2-3 years.

Also I would like to write it here already for the future readers of this article that....

A. No one is forcing anyone to watch a Romcom
B. Don't jump on conclusions after reading a simple article which gives details about potential casting and premises?
And "Don't judge the Book by it's Cover" just because it says that YoonA's character have a bright smile on her face and makes the world brighter nowhere implies that she'd be a feeble FL in a clichéd drama.... She could be a strong female with a smile.
What's the harm of having a smile?
Do you really wanna see sulking faces in a drama when you have multiple sulking people around you IRL?

And the last point BP showed that there's no harm in clichés if executed right and there's still a huge number of people who wanna watch dramas like that and there ain't any problem in catering to everyone.
Again I repeat if you don't like then don't tune in the channel or click the title on Netflix or any other service.

Naah they don't even release in Proper Asia. It's just Korea, Japan and South-East Asia whereas they don't release it in India, South Asia, Middle East too.

FunFact is Hotstar which they use as a subchannel for Kdramas was an Indian OTT Service owned by 21st Century Fox's Indian Subsidiary Star India but now they have expanded it Southeast Asia forgetting about India. They just use it for f*cking cricket.

Haha lol actually there aren't too many of good Family Centric Dramas tbh hence we have a very few favorites I hope they make good family dramas than those with Amnesia, Birth Secrets or B*tch Mother/Mother-in-law who doesn't have a character growth till the last episode.

I agree with you but like @chibi said these kind of dramas aren't for everyone and neither the Channel nor the Streaming Service promotes these cuz they have this notion that these shows won't get them profit if they bank money on these. While FLAW or 2521 or BP were targetted to wider audience not just mature audiences. Also majority of the viewers of Dramas till this day are Women who aren't too much interested in a rather Emotionally heavy drama without those cunning Mother-in-law or Vamps plotting behind the FL lolzzz hence you still have those Makjangs airing on KBS with high TV ratings.
But maybe once it gets word of mouth it'll get that long due support from Netflix like Sky Castle did even though Netflix just got interested in Kdramas back then but I don't remember JTBC promoting that show? Also My Mister wasn't promoted like crazy by tvN too.

Okay so finally I watched 12 episodes in a little over 2 days and I think that first idk why people keep comparing this to BP?
Yes they're both Rom-coms but both shows are poles apart (at least for me) these 2 dramas have totally different vibes.
BP especially in first 6-7 Eps was quite quirky and fun with fast paced execution (which it even though lost somewhere towards the final episodes) but here things aren't as fast paced considering the no. of episodes.
Also CL has a rather complex plot with Amnesia, Obsessed Ex-GF popping up every minute and a Full Fledged Villain whereas BP didn't have all that. And while both MLs are quite narcissistic and tortures and pesters the FL, in BP, KTM's sweet side was shown quite early whereas in CL that doesn't happen until E11.

And NO! I'm in no way saying that this show is not good or that BP is better or anything but what I mean here is that both shows are different and people shouldn't come here with their prejudice against one or the other.
Also I think one more thing which although doesn't determine one's likeness for the show or whether the show is not good or not but still matters enough is a good OST which in case of CL feels rather mediocre I mean the OST isn't that good (at least for me) No track stands out.

Overall this drama is quite entertaining and good on its own but shouldn't be compared with BP perhaps that's the reason why it's domestic TV ratings and MDL ratings dwindled cuz people didn't notice this enough or rather chose to not notice cuz of similar show airing on same days and time.

Naah he looked bulkier in Happiness too maybe cuz he was quite young when SWDBS aired and then he served in military too so obviously he won't look like a flower boy anymore. But I like him more now 😂
