Yes yes.. (spoiler to episode 6), the queen didn't seem to enter Chef Jang's body though.. but definitely there's still the theory that the souls swapped due to the exact time both bodies were submerged in water. I haven't finished the episode 6 yet though.
And in the view of Hwa Jin, I have this feeling she really has a hand here. I would gladly welcome her to my list of most hated character if that's the case haha. I want her character to be treacherous hahaha (Don't mind me too much with my hatred to Hwa Jin, because if ever she is innocent until the end, it would be harder to dispose of her by the King's side, and that would ruin my King-Queen ship. Lol. Haha)
Would I be too greedy if I wish the Queen and the King to end up together? Haha. I just want to think that the intrusion of Chef Jang in the queen's body is an aid for the queen to release herself. I'm still holding on to my theory that the (original) queen was just compelled to do things because the Andong Clan threatening her, that is why she desperately wanted to 'let go of her false self'. She couldn't have erased the suspicion of the King if she is her original soul. Now that the King thinks that the queen is of different breed and is capable of having her own decision, I think that is a good 'ice breaker' per se for the romantic relationship between the king and the (original) queen in the future.
On the other hand, I am trying really hard to paint a good picture of Hwa Jin, but as the story goes on, my suspicion on her grows much stronger. Why do I always feel like she is secretly plotting something against the queen / or she's doing something to put the queen in the wrong foot of the king? Pardon me, but I really feel she always has this ambition to be the queen herself.

Yeah, I guess they left it with an open ending in case a sequel might come in the future.. but a bad choice to have the 'open ending' scene using the wedding. For me, I would rather liked it if they secured the ending as a married couple. Then if ever, if ever, they decide to go for another season, they could start off with the story having both leads as married, then enters their mission, to be done separately, etc etc.. But the main point is, the story ended and established that they are married.
I am contemplating if I am going to watch this.. the plot seems okay for me. But it is a Sageuk drama, and so far, Mr. Queen is the current sageuk that captured me right from the pilot episode. I mean, I kind of expect a tragic ending.. in both ways. If they wanted to have the main leads end up together, I am already expecting Rang to sacrifice.. Or they may opt to have a tragic ending legitimately for the main leads. So that's why in both ways, the ending would be tragic. Rang is the next best thing for Yeon, so whatever direction the ending would have, there must be lost in order for Yeon's 'wish' or story to conclude. I'm just frustrated though on how they framed the sacrifice of Rang.. I was kind of waiting a much more dramatic type of sacrifice, not the "this is the ending, Yeon must now be back, so take Rang immediately " type of story T-T

Hm.. what horror do you not want? The scary-scary traditional horror, or anything that is not normal and different from human characteristics? Because so far, I guess only in the Forest of the Starved is where there are some 'zombie-like' creatures, the rest of the scenes are having like fox-eyes, fox-claws, etc, meaning other scenes are subtle already. :)
