I've been dying to see this type of plot in kdramaland. And it is finally happening.

After reading some comments, whew I thought it was just me and my lazy watching mood that felt this way towards the movie. But the effects were good.

Plus his Bamboo forest wish. He treasures no one except himself. He was a playboy, full of himself. But then in the long run, his association with Cheoljeong and being in SoYong's situation, it taught him how to value connections (and intimacy, i guess). So it helped him also the other way around, not only him helping the couple..

Lol. That's what I kind of expect though.. Cheol Jeong in modern Hong Yeon's body. lol

I somehow agree that they should have showed more 'carefree' So Yong to establish the fact that it was really both So Yong and Bong Hwan in the body. Oh well, that's where I guess all will just hope for an episode 21. lol

A lot may haven't been satisfied with the ending, but it's the ending that made the best sense for both souls imo. It's just not justified if you'll let Bong Hwan's soul in Joseon forever. It would end in a complicated way if they didn't revive Bong Hwan cause his soul is basically misplaced. Rather, take Bong Hwan's visit in SoYong's body as a 'trigger'. It was really SoYong all along, however, because of confusion and pressure (plus the fact that SoYong's a bit naive), SoYong suppressed her true self, acting and thinking what her clan would like her to be. She didn't have a choice. Nobody could help her, not even the King that time because CheolJeong was too clouded of the fact that she came from Andong Kim clan. That's where Bong Hwan's intervention was needed. Bong Hwan just basically 'let go' all of SoYong's drawbacks. Bong Hwan was just there to help So Yong find her true self. Of course there were times when she would act more of Bong Hwan (BH also needed SY for his personal gain, remember secretary Han?), but generally, she was running in Bong Hwan's mind with So Yong's heart.

My two cents... it made sense in the end actually... (I'll cover the rest for spoilers)

However they established that So Yong could remember everything. Bong Hwan was just there as a guide, as an opener for the true So Yong. Also in the spin-off, they also established that So Yong is a crackhead even before Bong Hwan. So I guess they wrapped it up well.

She's really something rawr. It's rare for me to be so much into an actress/actor, but Hye Sun just keeps on adding and adding reasons to admire her more.

Those who haven't started Mr Queen yet is missing a whole new woooorld. I think I need to replay this drama after the 20th episode. I can't let go of Hye Seon yet!

Now that we're entering halfway of the series, I am seriously bracing myself for tragedy and demise... idk. I know it hasn't happened yet, I feel like all these laughter would now turn to cries???
I don't like my feeling about the conclusion the King will have... why do I feel like in the process, the Queen will be caught in between? The inevitable reality of the Queen's true story/side ☹☹☹☹
OMG tell me not to think about it..

And is rumored also to have a spin-off of 6, 10-minute episodes ☺
