How can they let this leave the cutting room floor? Looking at the past works by the director will tell you he shouldnt be at this line of work. My goodness Mew, why did you do this to yourself?
I was looking forward to this because the story sounds cute, but I don't understand the need for two languages.…
its such a waste to be honest. I am sad for Mew he deserved better.
I personally think the language is not the problem. Peach of Time was made in the same way with Jimmy the only one speaking in Thai, (with very little basic Korean here and there) but somehow you stop listening to the words they say if the flow of the story is there - this one is just too slow for a 15-minute short episode. I have the feeling things will be rushed later or nothing will actually happen at all.
Yup the haircut bothered me a lot too because it was just very obvious. But overall this show is really cute so…
Yes, the cuteness of thr show overpowers the little things that bothered me. Im also glad they are showing affection to each other from these early episodes and they made it obvious that they like each other from the onset. Heres hoping they could sustain the cuteness till the very last episode because there are stilll 10 more episodes and im really rooting for this show!
Its so corny and cheesy but i am so loving it. The chemistry between the 2 leads is so electric. and both are very charming! Goodness its like GMMTV has a farm for these sweet looking actors.
One thing i dont like so far is the very obvious inconsistency with the actor's haircut (Moo), one scene he is newly shaven the next he is not and then back again, It takes the continuity away, i hope they didnt overlook that detail.
ty ty ty You are one of the only people who have a belief somewhat similar to mine about the ending of the series.…
Right??!!! I feel like what makes this really tragic is Koki has taken his life out of depression and the yearning to be with Takashina. The thing is, in a lot of culture taking your own life equates not got to heaven, so in order to be sure Koki will be where Takashina is he has to have taken his own life just like him, sso where exactly are they?
I mean your review in general sure. However let's not take "we need a variety of representation that isn't just…
Thanks for writing. In the past few months I see my fault about the way i wrote my point of view regarding this matter and that it may come too judgmental anad homophobic. Like I said I dont mind effeminate, soft or whiny men (like you said), im surrounded and inspired by them.
Its not the effeminate character that I disliked about the writing, it is the exxagerration of it - like when one needs a help just to ride a bus. (There is a Thai series where the character who keeps fainting and even needs a boy's help to wash his hand) I just wished they didnt write Seeiw in the earlier part of the series as someone who needs a boy's help all the time to survive. To be fair, their Seeiw's and Cake's cohabitation is mutual and Seeiw's character developed into a more independent guy once Cake left him and that should have been my consideration.
Took sometime to go through your completed shows and rating, I just had to laugh when I saw some shows rating.…
Shows hit pepople differently. For you my reviews may be trash I respect your opinion, if you think differently than me then just write your own review because some people may find them helpful and watch the series that you liked. You do you and I'd do me.
I like light easy to watch contents to pass the time that can immerse me in their world and forget about the reality. If the show can do that, i get happy with them. If a show makes me roll my eyes and makes me question their choices, thats my biggest concern. I have actually been extra nice to a lot of my reviews (to be honest a lot of my reviews deserves even less than 5) because I know these shows took a lot of people to get made. What I usually post is the sanetized version, personally and privately I am even more critical to shows. Most of the times I write even more critical reviews but i just stop short of posting them because I find too many things to criticize about them, I think these shows owe it to us especially now that theres too many contents to watch and you spent your time watching theirs . A lot of shows now I cant even finish 1 or 2 episodes but instead of writing bad things about them i just keep my mouth shut.
it’s “ Perfect Propose” not “ proposa”. You accepted it and took pleasure in it not “we” .. who…
Hi thanks for finding the time to write eventhough this was a bit of a violent reaction, i do welcome it. First I said it should have been titled Perfect Proposal not that it was the title. Also, I respect that you also didnt find that sexual assault acceptable but thats not what i said. What I wrote was, to quote myself "Somehow, a lot of the things shown in this series doesn’t make sense at all too, yet somehow, we accepted and took pleasure in it. I bet that controversial forced h*nd-j*b hooked a lot of viewers in - but who will not be, if a good-looking guy like Kai is giving it to you?" Did I say we accepted and took pleasure in the sexual assault? No. I added the forced handj*b sentence in the end just to imply that thats what intrigued me to the see the show when I saw Gagaoolala's trailer post in Youtube. You have to read the whole paragraph to get the context of what i was trying to say, not nipick what i said and twist my words.
Moon Sang Min is going to be a really big star, this is so evident watching this show. I loved Jeon Jong Seo too and her character is written perfectly. Great start!
Thanks so much for your review. It made me feel less alone with my thoughts amongst all the praises. I really…
Hi, thanks for writing too! Like you i really really wanted to love this drama and i think we are not alone in feeling that they somehow missed the mark especially in the last epispdes. I think the show was able to gather a big following because of a very strong first half. If truth be told i was so tempted to rate it even lower but gave them a pass because of the unique premise and because it is evident that they really tried to make it work. Have a good one too!
Was any of it even real or was it just a manifestation of heaven(or hell) after he took his own life? This is deep…
I myself am constantly struggling just like MyungHa. The sadder thing is that even if i feel im on the edge of the cliff a lot of times, i am just not brave enough to end it on my own. I envy him actually cause at least he got to do a re-set of some kind, we dont have that option in real life.
