Yes, i reckon a lot of viewers will end up hating the 5 year absence. But for me, before the time jump, both Jane and Ryan, never really fully committed to each other. Ryan even said he was ready to support Jane in whatever decision he makes. My interpretation is, just when the internship is about to end both Ryan and Jane (and with each other's pushing and inspiration) are realizing what they really wanted to do - they both understood that their relationship cannot continue at that point and must come to the backseat in order for them to reach their goals. This is not a show about love - its a show about finding out what your dream is. They made no promises to each other - God knows maybe they had relationships in between those long 5 years. But what i loved is that after the 5 years, they are still inlove with each other and are both successful and is now on equal footing.
I loved the show compared to Cooking Crush but will not give it a 9. You are far too generous to this show. Something…
Hi IT thanks for letting me know how you feel about this show.
Yes, i was too generous to this show, i will admit that. And yes i did enjoy this alot more than Cooking Crush, i couldnt even finish that one.
it was maybe around mid-series when i finally accepted the fact that this is NOT an Off-Gun BL series. Once i have, i enjoyed it a lot more. A little bit of disclaimer - i dont watch a lot of straight Thai series so at first it was difficult for me to accept that Im being deceived to watch a non-BL THai drama. I know GMMTV actors oftern switch to straight and BL roles but i really loved Off Gun pairing and i came here to watch them.

you are absolutely right about this. James looks like a someone cosplaying a boss and not a very good one at that…
Im ok with slightly older people playing young people maybe upto college level, but some dramas cast mid 20s guys in high roles wearing shorts, i get so distracted by it to be honest 5555. They can play maybe younger character in flashbcks not for the duration of the show. I remembered
This is nothing against any of these actors, but I need casting directors to stop casting 20-year-olds as managers…
you are absolutely right about this. James looks like a someone cosplaying a boss and not a very good one at that and to think the story included a 5 year jump so how young was he when he became the company's boss 14 or 15?. It is almost the same as 25+ year old actors being cast as high school students who looks too old for their roles.
Thailand has so many actors so i dont know why they are miscasting actors for roles. Perth (from My Engineer would have been a perfect actor for this role if they needed someone mixed race). Maybe Mario Maurer (if he is willing to come back into the BL world)
When Man Trisanu was cast as the boss in Step by Step (I only mentioned this as it was included in the recommendations along with this page and because of his mixed race) I thought he was the perfect age believable to be a boss (sadly that show fizzled out after a few episodes and the very annoying other male lead, i dont even remember if i finished that series)
I gave it a 2.5- finally made it through- I highly recommend this for insomniacs- whenever I really couldn't fall…
Wow congrats on finishing it!!!
"whenever I really couldn't fall asleep- I'd turn this on---- magical:)". 55555. I remembered watching some of the episodes and i just couldnt really finish them cause id fall asleep halfway. Thats why i adore platforms with the speed adjusters!
very repetitive, plus the fact that it feels almost the same as Sang MIn's last series. I do like it more than…
yes it does. Although, i liked seeing the artist Seong MIn but i think he is being used just to drive the point that the 2 leads cant live without each other... we are more than halfway through it and no real progress, plus the 2 other office workers are so annoying
Hi thanks for writing and helping me understand the series. I really appreciate it cause theres literally no one…
Hahahah, thanks for writng, i really feel like i need to travel back in time to make sense of what i wrote back then, as to be honest, i dont remember the plot too well anymore. Its one of those shows that was very intriguing at first (plus of course i cant help watching because of Seo kang Joon) but since a lot of it didnt make sense i just put it behind me and forgot all about it. I am willing though, to get back into it had they pushed through with a season 2, which as i suspected back then didn't happen so all the build up and suspense left hanging were just unresolved stories that make the series incomplete, and completely disrespecting viewers who thought it was interesting enough to watch it.
I might still be crazy because I liked Secret Crush on You more than this one 🤣🤣
Hi Thanks for writing. I think the setback of this show was each episode was too long that they had to extend a lot of the narratives just to fit the time. BTW I havent seen Secret Crush on You yet, will you reccommend it?
I thought this show was perfect until that bitch came up. Whhhhyyy o why dear BL writers do you feel the need to put annpying girls in BL dramas? Thats just lazy writing.
there wont be any plot if they didnt do this, san and wee cannot be all lovey dovey for 4 eps right , we need…
i know i know Nihira, however whats wrong with 2 or 3 more episodes of Vee and San beeing sweet and lovey dovey, just looking at them together just brings me joy. Id prefer that than the sour taste this new Wad is bringing.
I personally think it was an interesting addition as now it's clear that regardless of weather or not Vee is the…
I would have actually preferred that she is the real incarantion of Wad and she's not there to be a villain because to me that will create an even more moral dilemma just like when she first showed up - as in who will San choose the one he is waiting all along or the new love. Wad making the ultimate sacrifice for her love to San - it will be more epic in scale. The series turning her into a somewhat despicable character is the easy way out for us to root for Vee and San.
The problem is they made her a villain and not a very good one at that. Even Suchat and that rich sick guy were stupid villain. That scene near the end of episode 8 is comical and not very believable to say the least.I dont think they have enough plot and script to last a 10-episode series cause these past couple of episodes feels so thin and stretched.
