what question did i choose to avoid? I thought my reply clearly answered that.
What you do is answer the argument with personal attacks and assume so many things, If that makes you think you win the discussion, then fine i give you the win.
i would have to partly agree on you on one thing though, when you said I look for films and dramas for moral direction. Yes, i do think that every content has a moral obligation to be responsible because almost any content can easily be accessed by anyone and not all viewers have that supreme maturity and intelligence like yours to discern what is just a drama and what is real life - just reading the trails of comments in this show will reveal a few fantasizing about the/their teacher. If you dont think these contents affect the viewers in any way then again good for you.
dont twist the idea. when did is say that only good behaviors should be featured in dramas? Murder, even in films is still considered an act of crime. This show glamorizes abuse/ inappropriate behavior and masking it as if its something to love and pine for. Cant you see the subliminal messaging this show has - how many times was the teacher shown with extra glowing light around him like he is an effin beacon of light making the viewers think that the teacher is this extra shiny good dude that we should adore too. if by the end of the show the teacher is exposed as an abuser, then that will be a different story.
It's funny, but you are right. Domundi does have this thing about adapting BLs featuring very young college-aged…
Hi thanks for writing. Yessss i agree, Domundi is not the only one guilty of the young CEOs, even a few Korean BLs have done that. The thing is weve seen the office-themed with these very young CEO trend quite a lot this past few months from the Japanese remake of Love in the Air, to MosBank's Sunset X Vibes, to that awful Bad Guy My Boss. Even that other recently finished show 'Fourever You' can be considered one of these although I do find Maxky's Johan more mature looking and suitable as a CEO than a student.
its so slow but i love it.... cant wait for next week.
I must confess that i had reservations about this show in the beginning because i didnt like the trailers and early promo materials, but yeah t his hsow has won me over
The ending was so cringey. Not just the age difference and him essentially waiting for his boyfriend to be of…
Totally agreed on what you said - its not the age difference, but the idea that Klao is totally grooming his friend's son made it all mortifying. I also love your suggestion - there is no reason why the young Klao couldnt just time jumped back to the present so he could be the same age as Bamee.
I agree so so much with your review, but I just don't get how this is worth 7/10... I think this is a lot :O I…
Hi hi thanks for writing!
To be really really honest, i will still give it a 7 just for the cast even if the whole drama deserves a little less than it does.
I used to be a very critical reviewer - then one time i saw a behind the scenes video of some old drama i hated and saw the number of people and the effort they made to put on the show even if it is a little bit lackluster - thats when i had the realization that maybe i was too harsh. Nowadays i rate the dramas i really really hate a little bit above 5 to 6. Then the mediocre dramas about 6 to 7.5. Those that i really love about 9 to 9.5, I almost never give a 10 because there is always room for improvement no matter how good a drama is.
Rewatch Edition: As said in my Kidnap review, Gmmtv has pretty much cemented itself as the master of misguiding…
Hi thanks for writing! Im glad you have the courage to sit through for the the second time all of the shenanigans in this series.
You might be right about Theo not meaning to keep the charade for so long, and that may be my biggest gripe with this series (aside from that awful awful Paris CGi at the end). Now that Force Book has starred in so many other series, no matter how pathetic this story was, Im glad that GMMTV was willing to spend on something to launch their careers.
Wow! We really are on the same wavelength. I was just thinking the very same thing. I watched ep 5 & 6 three times.…
i think the big issue here with this show is their style in storytelling. They have the tendency to make us bake in our agony. I remember when in the middle of To My Star2 when i was really frustrated with one of the leads too, especially when we feel hurt for the other character
I know this causes a lot of misunderstandings. But i like waiting for dramas every week .The waiting, the discussion…
Hi, yes, there are pros and cons to releasing weekly and binge drop but i really think this weekly release is negatively impacting LFTCT. The first 2 episodes left very good impression on the show and now its the total oppossite if you read a lot of the comments. The On1y One really worked as a weekly release since the episodes are pretty long and they dont leave us frustratedly hanging with each episode unlike this one. And yes i really "dread the shows that release 1 epsiode of barely 20 min each week .Those r the true nightmares" too. There is this one show being released weekly now which is barely 10min and single episode per week (Im not saying its the KBL "My Damn Business", wink wink) and its a pain waiting for development of their character.
Relax guys, theres still 2 more.episodes. i hope they use it to answer all our questions.
I think this type of story is better suited as a binge and not as a weekly drop, because the frustrations of most viewers seem to be coming from not knowing what the hell really happened in the last 12 years and we still have to wait another week to find the answers.
I laso think thats why Love in the Big City is a big hit with viewers because of the release strategy. I think if they released that series 2 episodes per week we will be in LITBC thread complaining about the middle parts too.

Hwang Min Hyun is a really hot nerdy guy!
To be really really honest, i will still give it a 7 just for the cast even if the whole drama deserves a little less than it does.
