Person Jung Hae In
I have seen him in Prison Playbook, Something in the Rain, One Spring Night, Tune in for Love and While you were…
I literally loved him so much in piece of mind. He's my favorite from the prison playbook but here, in this drama, he broke all records for me .

Some may find it boring, depressing, slow-paced but if you've ever been at the lowest point of your life, have seen ups and downs of life, love and human conflicts, you'll realize this drama made you even more aware that it's time to heal yourself of those wounds, scars and the pieces of sadness, melancholy, its time to move on, not because you need to, but because you'll find some reason, some really good people, when you'll not like being stuck.

And when you move on, you'll accept everything you didn't accept before, you'll think you are not a crying person but after shedding some tears in the process, you'll find actually how geuine and honest it is to move on.

I feel healed after watching this drama, so I really hope people learn something from the genuine love of Ha Won and Seo Woo who both overcame their fears, their losses, and their sadness by just talking, communicating and understanding.

They both gave each other time to heal themselves, without forcing their affections on each other, their story gives some hope for love, some hope for recovery and some hope for future. Though it's quite blur in the start.

All in all, I think I don't have enough words in my vocaublary to describe my feelings for this drama.

I would have hard time to move on from this drama, people who didn't watch it will never understand it and they'll only badmouth this drama. So don't listen to their fake stories.

Watch it yourself and then you'll understand.

I think this drama set bars for every upcoming drama really high for me, now I can never control myself comparing other dramas with this one.

Title A Piece of Your Mind Spoiler
I'm so much disappointed in these Korean Netizens. Damn. Not blaming anyone individually, but they talk so big about Jung Hae In, love him so much as we can see in Gorilla date and his other interviews, but they just couldn't trust him on his new project "Piece of your mind".

They openly called the drama boring, slow-paced and whatnot, ratings dropped to the lowest, episodes got cut in between, we didn't even get a proper ending.

Not showing my personal grudge, but only International viewers know the real pain of how we lost precious moments of such a unique beautiful drama ever produced in kdramaland.

I know Korean audience wasn't ready to see such a raw love story yet, which showed bittersweet reality of life, love and relationships, but still, I had hoped they'd support him.

Looks like they really love him for only his handsome face. Kdramas are always known to produce some unique and special plots and most of the time, it's positively received by the audience.

I feel like Korean netizens have become habitual of seeing affair dramas, husband cheating over his wife and vice versa, and all those medical dramas (not saying they're bad, I watch them too) that's why when a real, genuine, honest and moreso, personal love story fell on their watchlist, they found it hard to digest.

Such a hypocrite people they're. Makes me feel betrayed, hurt and distress for Jung Hae In, Chae Soo Bin and so many who worked hard even during the times of peak of Corona to give them such a beautiful masterpiece.

Looks like these people don't deserve a fresh plots, they need to watch overused plots again and again to understand what's the right approach to make a drama about life.
On A Piece of Your Mind Jul 10, 2020
I'm consoling myself that maybe they needed to cut down those episodes because it aired when corona was at peak in Korea, maybe that's why families were in chaos, so it didn't receive deserving ratings.

Otherwise, there are so much bad dramas out there literally which got full episodes even though they were a total flop.

There were many reasons that contributed to the fall of this amazing drama, but none of them involves the fault of writer/director/actor/actresses.

It's totally bad luck that it didn't get those ratings, but still, only International viewers know how much they love this drama. And how much they'll be salty all their lives, maybe, that they had four episodes snatched away from them so cruelly, we'll feel salty our whole lives for it.

if you don’t like slow placed, quiet dramas this is not for you! Everyone is saying the drama is slow and boring…
Totally agree with you!
On A Piece of Your Mind Jul 9, 2020
Don't understand why "When the weather is fine" like drama(watched both) can get full episodes, but this one didn't. It made me see the gross reality of ratings, fame, those underage netizens, suddenly I found myself disliking Korean netizens.

Literally, why this drama is not even on Netflix?! I mean, never mind those four episodes, but this drama is literally deliciously loved by International viewers so much that Koreans have no idea!

I'm just afraid that even in near future, many good Korean writers/directors will not make something like this again, maybe this one will remain as the only memory in this unique genre of Melo.

But, if director/writer ever sees these honest comments, please please don't mind the ratings, they don't define your masterpiece, and those REALLY AMAZING OSTs you guys have chosen for this drama.

Its literally breathtaking in each aspect, that it's engraved in my heart forever, I'll even make my unborn kids watch this cause they'll learn about people, life and healing and it'll help them recognize people's pain more.
On A Piece of Your Mind Jul 9, 2020
Yes, this drama is not for everyone, it's a hidden gem only people with ups and down in their life can understand. I'm kinda happy there are few people who recognize this masterpiece and will cherish it forever, while others will keep on finding it boring, slow paced, until they get to experience reality of life face to face.

Maybe, then they'll understand the maturity of this drama, and the message of healing and moving on this drama gives, and tbh, in my five long years of watching korean dramas, this one literally made me realize how much I didn't know about life, how harsh life kicks you, but how loving it is when it sends people to help you.

Its bittersweet, but the story shown is so real, genuine, personal and honest that it tugs at my heartstrings. This drama raised my bars for kdramas, I'm damn sure this is the best drama of 2020 for me.

Why do all the cdramas mostly have same plot, I've searched so many of them and I swear none of them looks interesting enough to watch.

And what's with so many episodes? Damn, it's like watching Korean family dramas.

I want to branch out of kdramas now, to see Chinese, Taiwan and thai dramas but I think I've too high expectations that these long plotless cdramas don't seem to fulfil.

Still, I've heard of many exceptions in cdramas too but they all seem same to me anyways. Idk what to do.

Title Love Conquest Spoiler
I felt betrayed after watching this movie.

First, there were no subtitles so I had to watch it raw using all of my rough Korean understanding till date I had gathered from watching kdramas.

*spoilers*

Second, I didn't know at first this movie was mature too, but it's not a problem, in fact, it only raised my expectations. The main lead was such a wimp, he's never had skinship with woman so he goes crazy whenever he touches women.

And the female lead was burning hot I admit, lol some scenes were even funny in their interaction.

Without subs, I had some difficulty in understanding the scenes, but even if I had to rewind and then understand, I was never lazy to do it.

But the problem was the whole movie I was expecting him to make a move on her, they even showed strong signs that he's was undeniably attracted to her, even if she at first didn't like him much, but rather than imagining sexual things/attraction with him, she was more genuine with her interactions with him.

She even encouraged him a lot to be open, but he, as an idiot I never expected him to be, was still stuck on his first love of how many years I don't remember. All I know is that he loved that girl since his college days and the day he wanted to confess, she was kissing his senior. Damn.

But still, I've seen many dramas where guys move on with their first love, here also I expected that. But no, he was damn stubborn.

Female lead was so annoyed by his actions sometimes, even a scene comes where she celebrates his birthday by giving surprise and they even kiss also, but then he's all about let's be bf and gf so that we can kiss like this all the time.

It broke her heart, and tbh, mine too because she was expecting something geuine from him but he was all about having sex. I know it's a mature movie so he need to be sex-minded but still, I was feeling things for both of them in the screen, so how couldn't they?

They have some of the sweetest kiss scenes ever, I really was surprised considering it a was mature movie so they needed to go deeper which they didn't. The kiss even seemed like a peck in front of those explicit scenes of other couple.

All of those two kisses happened, and then they decided to part ways. I was like WTF. I was even expecting him to stop her, she even tried to give hints, like asking him to remain in contact with her from time to time, which he refused. (Literally wanted to kill him there.)

She was disappointed, everything was written on her face. Then she left. They ended the movie with the cliche lesson that how much male lead matured while staying with the female lead for some time, how she came him confidence blah blah blah.

At the end, we see, his first love came to his store, and they reunited. I was left betrayed in the streets.

I mean come on! What's with boys and their first loves! It totally ruined my mood. This isn't even an open ending. I felt bad for the female lead though she was cool enough to handle on her own.

I would rate this movie 6/10. Its good I watched this in lockdown otherwise major part of my study break would have gone to waste.

When have people not overreacted? They think their views matter, which honestly do, but not to that extent when they openly criticize just anything, because they need to vent out their frustration anywhere, wherever they'll find more comfortable to do. And where they'll find the most satisfaction.

Not to be offensive, but I hated TKEM to my heart's content so when it was involved in those controversies, I was so relieved God.

Those weak dramas which get sucesss because of stardom are probably the most disliked category by me.
