Grandma Si claimed that being a shaman and not a monk meant he didn't have to be alone so 1) either his mother didn't know what she was talking about, or 2) grandma Si encouraged him to give up magic so he could fall in love and be happy. Honestly, I don't know. After the scene with handjobs I explained to myself that since sex is based on love and not just physical desire, it's justified in the eyes of the gods. After all Peem himself said that nothing bad can come from love. That was my interpretation. But then in the final episode he says they can have sex BECAUSE he still hasn't started training to get his magic back. Which implies that once he starts getting it back, they won't be able to have sex anymore. Because "clearly", handjobs is not sex...
Because my English sucks blood like a vampire starving, I completely misunderstood episode 9. Specifically, the mind trip. Did they explain it, and I, with my nonexistent level of mastery of foreign languages, didn't understand it? Because no one else seems confused. But tell me, in words a 5-year-old could understand, how did accessing Punn's memories allow Ramil to influence past events that had already happened? Punn had been dreaming about Ramil for years and thought he saw him attack the orphanage because, years later, Ramil entered his mind and traveled back in time? I don't get it!
