I wonder if I'm the only one who thinks this was the best ending for the second couple? Considering the nature of these characters, I can't see any other solution that wouldn't be overly unrealistic and forced. TG was a coward with low self-esteem; of course he ran away. WL made a million and one mistakes that were years too late to fix. If WL had apologized at that restaurant and TG had forgiven him, I would have screamed at the absurdity. They met again after several years. That distance was what they desperately needed.
I'd been thinking about starting to watch it for a month, but I was hesitant. ABO isn't exactly my favorite setting, and if I do read a fanfic or novel in that setting, I usually go for the classic dynamic. Enimga is a term I'd come across somewhere, but I hadn't explored it. And honestly, the drama's description didn't exactly entice me. But literally everyone told me it was so good that, with some trepidation, I finally started watching the first episode. And damn, I became addicted.
I spent an entire night watching seven episodes in one sitting. And then I spent every free moment at work watching episodes 8 and 9. I couldn't stop. I watched the remaining episodes after getting home from work. In total, I spent two whole nights watching it and risked a reprimand from my boss... But it was worth it.
Who needs a green flag as a boyfriend when you can have a black flag like Hua Yong? I'm in love.
Honestly, I'm not disappointed with the ending. I loved both couples, and I think both relationships were well-portrayed. Some situations sometimes force us to make difficult choices, and our emotions mean that these aren't always wise choices. I think Gao Tu's choice was unwise, but at the same time, very fitting for his character.
I feel sorry for Mok from the bottom of my heart. Poor guy, he's having a rough time with those brothers. On the other hand, recording this must have been a challenge for Est. A "don't laugh" kind of challenge.
Is this 55 2-minute episodes? How disappointing! The plot sounds so promising. I've never even heard of a short!
Believe me, short series are short for a good reason. If someone turned these clichés into hour-long episodes, people would start jumping off buildings. On their heads.
umm... as pointed out in the series he's a Shaman not a monk. So he could have a family like his Grandfather did.…
There's a 90% chance it's a translation error. There's a 10% chance it's a plot hole.
Based on the English subtitles I found for this drama, your questions weren't answered, no matter how closely you look.
His mother said that being a shaman meant always being alone. His grandfather had a family, but 1) he either started it before practicing magic, or 2) because he practiced black magic, it didn't matter what rules he broke. Grandma Si claimed that being a shaman and not a monk meant he didn't have to be alone so 1) either his mother didn't know what she was talking about, or 2) grandma Si encouraged him to give up magic so he could fall in love and be happy. Honestly, I don't know. After the scene with handjobs I explained to myself that since sex is based on love and not just physical desire, it's justified in the eyes of the gods. After all Peem himself said that nothing bad can come from love. That was my interpretation. But then in the final episode he says they can have sex BECAUSE he still hasn't started training to get his magic back. Which implies that once he starts getting it back, they won't be able to have sex anymore. Because "clearly", handjobs is not sex...
Because my English sucks blood like a vampire starving, I completely misunderstood episode 9. Specifically, the mind trip. Did they explain it, and I, with my nonexistent level of mastery of foreign languages, didn't understand it? Because no one else seems confused. But tell me, in words a 5-year-old could understand, how did accessing Punn's memories allow Ramil to influence past events that had already happened? Punn had been dreaming about Ramil for years and thought he saw him attack the orphanage because, years later, Ramil entered his mind and traveled back in time? I don't get it!
the way i have more characters that i hate than a few that i like
This is the first zombie movie/series in which I was rooting for the characters to die tragically instead of keeping my fingers crossed for them to survive..
